How do I complete "Kill a player off the radar" if the option for it unlocks at level 40, and my character's level 16?

That should be reported to Rockstar. I got that one for one of my characters that was at level 39, had to level up, and then wait for a call from lester before I could use it. I thought they were just being tricky.

I think you can do it during a deathmatch, I'm not 100% sure but some options when calling characters are available there, like kill a revealed player.

Did Rockstar change the requirements for the weekly and monthly bonuses? Before all you had to do was complete 7 consectuative or 28 objectives to get it. It didn't matter if you skipped a day or few just as long as u didn't log in. I' ve done at least 7 in a row with only a few breaks in between yet haven't gotten the 100k bounus.

your partly right.

it didn't matter to skip one day or even more days in a row as long as you didn't log in..

but the very important part is that you have to log in with the other character when you come back to the game.

because the reset counts only for that character who you log in with and the list is stuck/frozen and progress is saved for the "main" character (the one you wanna save the progress for).

now appearently this does not work anymore for newer gen as you can now complete objectives with both characters at any time of the day and the list for the second logged in character isn't frozen anymore.

but this method of saving the progress for one character still works on older gen (at least ps3 i know of)!!

so it wasn't necessary to remove this tipp/method completely from the initial post.

@denturedynamite, maybe you could put it back into the op only for the last gen players.

^^ Restored--and my apologies for removing it...in my glee that I could (finally!) do both character's objectives, I forgot that it still applied to last gen players.

As always, let me know if any of it needs tweaking (I'm not quite as sharp on this aspect of DOs as others like yourself).

How do I complete "Kill a player off the radar" if the option for it unlocks at level 40, and my character's level 16?

Good point on this--added to the Unofficial PC bug list.

@ pedrohenrique23 and darkgreenmeme: Were either of you on the PC when this happened? I've logged it as a bug anyway (since I suspect it's non-platform specific), but just want to clarify and get my facts straight.

Incidentally, the "Escape a 3 star wanted level" is better, but still flaky (sometimes works first time; others, takes another try--but without exiting/reloading GTAO).

Re: Have a private dance at the Vanilla Unicorn -

Has anyone actually received this Daily Objective, and if so, what do you have to do to complete it?

I've never received it, and I'm wondering if it only shows up for players who have done this previously in freeroam?

the vanilla unicorn one and as well the gold metal in flight school objective are not in the game.

either it's a wrong information on gtawiki (or whatever) or it has been removed afterwards.

nobody has ever had one of these objectives (as far as i know).

IIRC, someone here posted that they had actually received a gold medal objective--it's fairly easy to do (managed to get one landing the chopper on the truck bed). I've never personally received it, but that doesn't mean someone else hasn't...

I've updated the GTA Wiki to reflect what I/we believe to actually reflect the reality of current DOs (hopefully they survive; if not, there needs to be some concrete proof that they're incorrect).

i guess you are referring to these posts:

Just spotted this new (to me!) D.O. in the GTA Wiki list:

Get a Gold Medal in a Flight School Lesson.

Yikes! Anybody have any idea of how to easily complete this if/when it comes up?

The last successful Flight School Lesson I've unlocked is the "Land a helicopter on a moving truck"; but I rarely ever get any medal other than bronze. :( Here's hoping I don't get this anytime soon..!

The first lesson is super piss easy if you get the loops done first time!

and

  • Get a Gold Medal in a Flight School Lesson - Brand new (to me, the OP) Daily Objective--spotted on GTA Wiki's D.O. list! Yikes! Anybody have any idea of how to easily complete this if/when it comes up?

Take the lesson where you have to land the bizjet with engines out. Simply set it down and let it roll and stop very near the objective for gold.

they are just giving tipps to complete a flight school lesson with a gold medal but that doesn't mean that they actually got this objective.

actually the one with the helicopter landing on a moving truck is pretty hard to get gold with.

the one with the miljet which you have to land at the ford zancudo landing strip would be the easiest to get gold with in my experience.

but until now i know of nobody who ever got this gold medal objective (or also the unicorn one) in his list of do's.

so i would assume they're not in the game (anymore).

Okay not sure if this is worthwhile mentioning as well but it seems Adversary Mode counts as a Versus Mission for Daily Objectives.

I had that for one of my three last night and did Quick Job > Versus mission and it threw me into a lobby of Keep the Pace 1, now I never checked

afterwards but I think this counted as completion of my Daily Objective though I never got notification back in free roam, I then did Air Force Ii to make

sure but if somebody could check this be handy to know.

I think you might be right. I had a versus mission objective the other day and as that mode is pretty much dead I decided not to bother with any of the objectives that day. Later on though I happened to check my objectives again and I noticed that the versus mission one had been ticked off. I hadn't done any versus missions so I just assumed it was a mistake/bug but looking back now I think I probably did play the adversary mode so that might well have counted instead as you were saying.

EDIT: I just read DentureDynamite's revised OP and noticed the patch notes for daily objectives from the Lowriders Update.

There is no need to follow the methods below, as it was intended for pre-Lowriders update as a method to "trick" the objectives to reset for both characters.

A quick note regarding players with Two Characters wishing to perform daily duties on BOTH characters to accumulate for Weekly and Monthly rewards.

As per Denture Dynamite's original post and based on my own experience, going Online shortly after the time your daily objectives reset will present you with new objectives for both characters. This must be done in a particular fashion, explained below.

In my case, my daily objectives reset at 23:00 HRS Pacific Time Zone.

  1. After the reset time, I went online and chose my character in Slot 2. You will be presented with new objectives to complete for the dailies.
Do not immediately perform these duties.
  2. Instead, take a few moments (walk around your apartment or street) and then proceed with swap characters. I usually give it a minute or two before switching characters.
  3. Swap characters, choose your character in Slot 1. Upon connection, your Slot 1 character should also be presented with new objectives.
  4. From here, you can proceed to perform the daily duties for Slot 1 character. Once completed, you can switch to Slot 2 character and finish those duties.
  5. I usually disconnect from my session using my Slot 2 Character, so that I can begin this process again the next day.

I am not sure if it matters that you start with a Slot 2 character to check objectives.

I would safely assume that if you checked your objectives Starting with Slot 1, proceeding to Slot 2 to check and perform said duties, and then revert to Slot 1 to perform said duties - it would have the same effect of allowing you to perform dailies for both characters.

By doing the above, you are forcing the game to reset daily objectives for both of your characters.

In the past, when I rushed to complete the objectives after going online (without checking my other character's dailies), the completion of that day's objectives would "stick" and when I checked the other character, the previous day's objectives would remain as completed. At this point you are limited to performing daily objectives for only one character to roll your weekly and monthly rewards.

If done correctly you can double your earnings from daily objectives reward:

Daily: $25,000 cash and 3000 RP

Weekly: $100,000 cash and 15,000 RP

Monthly: $500,000 cash and 50,000 RP

Yesterday, I earned two weekly awards ($100,000 cash +15,000 RP for each character).

Here's to hoping I can keep it up for the next 3 weeks to earn the monthly reward.

Wish me luck and I hope this helps anyone out there looking to roll dailies for two characters!

^^ At least on the PC, it doesn't appear to matter which character you start with; both are always reset now...I did have one of my chars objectives "stick" a while ago, but it's cleared itself, and I got the weekly, so it didn't lose anything.

Just curious here, is there any benefits in doing the DO with both characters, I briefly started a secondary character on PS3 but never touched it back, I think its at level 5 and having to grind levels and money for 2 characters wasn't in my list of interesting things to do at that moment, both characters don't share their bank account, unless that was changed after awhile...

both characters have always shared the bank account!

just the cash on the hand is separated.

it has always been like that from the very beginning.

and exactly this is the benefit of doing them twice (each with both characters).

you will get 2.8 million a month instead of 1.4 million!

@bigsky2,

this still applies to older gen consoles, so it should stay for them in the op!

Keep in mind that daily objectives are unlocked ( available for you to do ) at level 15.

Yeah, I noticed that after Lowriders update. It's nice that you don't need to swap characters now.

Prior to the update, daily objectives would reset for only a single character - but you could force the game to reset for both by swapping characters before performing said dailies.

As size_m pointed out, your characters share a bank account and rolling dailies for both characters will net you double the cash and RP. Performed for weekly and even monthly, you would get twice the benefits. But keep in mind, your second character needs to be level 15 in order to unlock daily objectives.siz

I was given a tip last night by a fellow gamer (sorry your forum name eludes me) for Steal a Vehicle from the Military Base and I have a variant on

that, sorry DentureDynamite if you've already covered these but having to make quick post.

My method - Call Lester and pay for Cops Turn Blind Eye.

Enter Fort Zancudo whichever side of the base you prefer and the 4 Star Wanted level DOES NOT activate, drive towards one of the jets or vehicles,

get in to complete the objective and you can fly out of the base without any reaction, okay costs you £5000 of your payout but easier than being shot done

or blown up in base and have to try again.

My friend's method:

Get HVY Insurgent PV and break into Fort Zancudo and drive towards the vehicle you want to steal, if the response team deploy and the tank is on the map

you will be able to survive 3 or 4 hits, steal vehicle and objective complete, then get back in Insurgent or use jet to make your escape.

Ok guys, its fine that now you can do the DO's with the two characters but I was wonder: if you want to do the 28 days bonus with a low level character (i.e. 15 when the objectives will be unlocked) and one day you have to do an ojbective that requires an higher range, well, as far as I know you can't do it so you will lose the 28 days progress. Isn' it?

@ tails_prower_2040: If you're willing (and able?) to drive the heavy Insurgent in, it's a good idea. But--something I've always wondered about--how on earth do you escape Ft. Mosquito on the ground in a land vehicle, when you can't get out through the gate? Is there a ramp somewhere usable by big vehicles the size of an Insurgent? (I know Furry Monkey can easily ramp out with a motorcycle by stunting on all kinds of things, but for the rest of us..?) :)

@ peppesorr96: Yes. However, I'd like to think that R* has since added code checking (and temporarily disabling) any objectives that require a rank higher than what your current character has. But only time will tell...

If anyone gets an objective that their character can't complete because of rank, please let me know!

Yes, however if you get an objective that you can't complete you should file a support ticket with Rockstar and I believe they can restore

the award progress.
