Places to host a car meet

Suppose you are going to host a car meet. What places in Los Santos and/or Blaine County do you think are ideal to accommodate 30 players and their cars?

A hanger at the airport or one of the multi level car parks would be suitable.

The Kortz Center. Decent sized parking lot, with a great view of the ocean, and a very nice building as a backdrop.

On top of Madrazo's ranch.

Did you pay him in documents to let you host that meet?

the stupid thing is that rockstar is trolling us by putting gangatacks at both airfields up north, a parachute job at lsc in town. a job of some kind at the popular "dragstrip" startpoint next to the Lsia.. hate that they do that.. why do they do this?

Yo this ish annoys me as well, im a host of BlackAce car meets and almost every spot i want to do has a damn gang attack by it or gangs hanging out around it, it drives me cray.

There are many smaller parking lots all over the map that can handle 16 to 30 players. I think there are some parking lots around Little Seol that could work. Also i think there is a nice highway petrol station east of Tataviam Mountains. My suggestion is to drive around the map to discover new places to held a car meet. Smaller parking lots or parking garages will look better if you like to take pictures, but it could be unpractical and if someone gets a wanted level because other players could get their vehicle impounded or damaged.

I think that the end of Grove Street may be a good place

I think that the end of Grove Street would result in a lot of bullet holes in your car.

Thought of some other places...Hooky's on the GOH, UTool in the desert, the golf course parking lot, the beach, the vineyard in Tongva Hills (for small meets), and the lighthouse south of Gordo, for off-road meets.

There's also a lodge south of Paleto Bay.

You'll have more honest answers in these two sub-forums:

The best way to find a meet point is joining car meets or/and using Content Creator and floating around the map. Many have been suggested and are great places to use. LS Airport/Sandy Shores Airport are the best and typical car meet spots. Parking lots are great but sometimes require moving vehicles that spawn in and can attract police attention which makes a car meet go south pretty quickly if the cops show up. Depending on the class of vehicle, you can make your own spot meets. If using offroad vehicles, simply meet on any beach where there's plenty of space. The empty hangar at the LS Airport is great for pictures - there's also empty lots on each end of the runway that are facing the docks and pier (length-wise).

Avoid tight spots like Kortz Center as traffic can come in and scratch cars. Also, force a rule in that stancing cars cars should be done away from the group to avoid police attention so picking a place that's easy to access is good, too. I'll be honest that I'm not a fan of car meets with more than 16 players. I'm still on the 360 so I haven't experienced current-gen meets but it seems like a handful to manage so many players. Of course, you can get co-hosts but I feel a meet that is run by a crew ruins the meet atmosphere where everyone is buddies with one another. You're basically at a crew meetup if you got 2-3 hosts. So I'd consider starting small if you're new to GTA meets or at least join meets that have 30 players in. Look at how the host does his job and see at what the group likes and doesn't like. The best way to be a good host is to see how others can be improved. It doesn't matter what spot you pick or what you end up doing - it's how you interact with your group.

I think

For Chill Meets (i.e. parking and relaxing)

-The main LS Customs

-The parking lot near the airport

-The Observatory Parking

-Any parking garage

-Parking lot near LS University

- Maze Bank Arena

- Any Gas Station

For smaller meet ups

- Playboy Mansion

- Parking lot next to gondola in paleto bay

- La Fuente Blanca ( madrazos Ranch)

- parking lot across from the vespucci beach tattoo parlor

- Any Gas Station

For Drag Racing

- LS Storm Drain (sewers)

- LS and Blaine County Runways

Don's Market in Paletto Bay. For one, less traffic up there. For two, nice big parking lot. Doing it in a private session or have protection--this is the sort of thing that brings out the griefers.

I like the Observatory, but it might get a little cramped with 30 players...

The top level of some of the car parks make good spots, in a hanger at LSIA springs to mind to, there are a few large car parks near the airport too.

Power Station car park.

If the meet is a one class affair you can always host it in a GTA race, no cops, free respawns to repair damage, you can even turn traffic off.
