Ss4gogeta0 Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) I honestly have no more problems with Treyarch... they are a good team of devs who actually care enough about the Cod series to try to fix the bugs and make it playable... unlike Infinity Ward (who pretty much stopped caring and are in it for the money) and recently Sledgehammer (who follow in the footsteps of Infinity Ward)... I see Black Ops III as merely being a continuation of the Black Ops Storyline and not a reboot like the last few call of duty games.. which would make sense because BO II was set in the future... I think its a good thing that 3ARC are sticking to consistency instead of being all over the place like with COD Ghosts & COD AW... I have faith in them... Treyarch: Call of Duty 2: Big Red One - Really good story, was more based around the squad instead of a singular inhuman robo soldier... (one of my personal favorite call of Duty Games of all time) Call of Duty 3 - was pretty good... First major COD game that TreyArch actually worked on... Call of Duty: World At War - The Last WWII COD game... Prequel to Black Ops Call of Duty: Black Ops - Legendary among COD fans... One of the better call of duty games in recent history Call of Duty: Black Ops II - one of the most balanced CODs out there... Infinity Ward: Call of Duty - The Original Call of Duty Call of Duty 2 - Sequel to the original Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare - First modern Call of Duty Game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Pretty good game... Fan Favorite of many Call of Duty: Ghosts - Utter Crap Sledgehammer Games: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Taken over from Infinity Ward due to legal issues between parent company Activision & Infinity Ward Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Originally was in development after Black Ops came out, but was put on hold so they could work on MW3... I wish it was just a stand alone game and I could purchase seprate. I would probably pay too much if it was though. I did finish the SP in AW but I am level 49 in MP and I have never prestiged one time. The MP is okay now days, but it just doesn't get me motivated like other games. I will purchase BO3 for sure, I'm probably going to be pre ordering soon, just have to cough up $110 and I'll be ready. It never really dawned on me I was still purchasing season passes through the stores when I could just easily download them from PS4 instead. I don't think wall running and boost jumps have a place within a Call Of Duty title, and even if they do, it should be strict to one development team. I don't want it 2 years in a row. I will of course pick it up eventually, but not on release day like I've done for every Call Of Duty since MW2, and not even for multiplayer, but for the campaign. It even plays the Juggernog music when opened. That does actually sound cool. I won't be getting the collectors edition of course but I do hope atleast if you get the season pass they will offer the Der Riese remake zombie map at launch, that now will be called "The Giant". I just can't see the C.E. getting exclusive access to the map. Most games doesn't offer exclusive access just for C.E., especially maps. I can see outfits or gun skins, but not maps. I'm sure we will get more info now that this leaked out a little earlier than they wanted I think, or maybe they wanted it to leak out. LOL. Durden Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 I always liked the simplicity of Zombies... shoot to kill. Buy guns & traps. Upgrade weapons & perks. But every new BO entry has only made zombies more convoluted with huge + dynamic maps, new enemies, etc... R.I.P. Zombies for many fans, myself included. Hopefully an epic campaign makes up for it. All the loot around the map was never really the same and that offered a different experience as everyone searched for whatever they needed. It's definitely more chaotic too. This has me very interested. I'm kinda pumped for zombies and some MP to be honest. I'm real big on Treyarch though. I always have liked them so much more than Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer for that matter. Sledgehammer did okay with zombies this year. Better than I thought it was gonna be. But the new maps for PS4 came out last thursday, I have played the new zombie map Carrier twice I think, its seems pretty cool, but all I can think about now is BO3 zombies and how I miss Treyarch after seeing that new trailer. Its been too long Treyarch, god have I missed you. Just curious though, has anyone done any of the easter eggs in past COD's? If so, what do you consider to be the hardest one you have ever done. Mine might be Buried on the last step of the egg where all four players has to shoot the targets that pop up in four different areas. We were on this for like an hour atleast. All of us had to hit every target and not miss one for the egg to trigger and work. I will have to admit though, Origins was pretty tough as well. Tranzit was not bad, neither was Die Rise, Mob of the Dead was just pure fun. The upgraded Tomahawk was beast, the golden spork was a life saver at times. I can't get any guys to attempt AW easter eggs. Just doesn't seem like guys have any interest at all anymore. The saddest part about that though, it doesn't even bother me that I have none of them done for AW. In BO2 zombies, I felt like "it was my duty" to get the easter eggs done and I did. But I will admit as well, after competing each easter egg, I vowed never to attempt that maps again. I've only tried AW solo, on Outbreak I'm stuck on getting the card in the infirmary, I've tried using different guns as well with no luck.
