Dear GTAForums,

"Hearbeat" is a Short movie I made all in the Rockstar Film Editor. It did take me a while to get that up for you guys but here it finally is! I really hope you like this video and if yes I will keep on upload those kind of short films here on my channel. I did eventually stayed up all night to finish that movie up. I had some bugs I have found after uploading so I did have to fix tons of stuff...

Just signed up here to share my last two videos, haven't even finished GTA V yet because the editor is so amazing. I love movies, so I can see this becoming a regular hobby. Been using short ingame clips so far, nothing too ambitious or using Director Mode yet.

Speaking of ambitious, the Heartbeat video is great, left you a like. I'd also be interested in how you got the black bars. Are you using a highly unusual resolution or a multi-screen setup?

 

 

This one is blocked in Germany due to music copyright issues, even though I used a song from the editor ("El Cocaino"). Thus careful when you use songs from the game, one would have thought they'd clear this up with the respective rights owners in advance. YouTube lets me put another, non-copyrighted song on there, which would be fine since the SFX are horrible anyway (screams and car sounds cutting off). But if I do that I can't fade out the track at the end. Any way to change this apart from reuploading?

Playing around with depth of field here, got a bit lazy with that and the editing in the end though. Also, I played it safe with the music and used a score track. The music selection may start to feel limited very quickly. Can I use songs from my ingame MP3 folder in the editor and then take my chances with YouTube?
