@Lt_Nucky, I watched your tutorial on sitting characters. It was really interesting. Anyone who has a problem with PC users should watch videos like that to see just how much work goes into them.

I hope you do more like that, because I'm thinking of moving to PC, and those tutorials might be a huge help to me.

I know if I went to PC it would be daunting to learn all the stuff those guys know. Reading PC guys troubleshooting here is proof of that. Though even the simple stuff would be a big help to me (cough cough npc placement R* if you're listening).

By the way, if that was honest to god your first machinima you ever worked on, I am f*cking impressed. You used a lot of really good techniques in there. I'm impressed with the audio too. Some of the audio cues were really good. Especially when Trevor

shoots the cops in the end

. And the way you removed the trebble during the jump scene. Very good.

Thanks man! I might do a few more, but it's a bit tricky for me to decide which bits are worthy of having a tutorial. I mean the technique to me seems fairly similar.....Once you understand a couple of basic tools the that mainly Menyoo & Scene Director provide, there are a lot of different ways to combine them to get things done. So eventually it would probably boil down to just showing combinations of animations and objects....which are more ideas than tutorials. Wouldn't mind doing that (only after I used those ideas myself first in videos >), but it wouldn't be as much of a tutorial to provide people with new tools.....as it is doing part of the creative process for them, if you know what I mean?

 

But if there is anything specific you, or anyone else is curious about, let me know!

I haven't seen it in the move styles (yet).

It's a great movie.

 

Great video Ori. Felt realistic in that camera angle going through the back alleys, and even more so when you stayed with dashboard cam as they got out.

Thanks! I always try to stay as close as possible to the original scenes when i do a remake, in camera movements and overall look.

No steering wheel, i just used a good old joypad

Man, I didn't even know about that update. It just looks like a Trackmania rip off. You're right though, it will make for some good videos. I prefer story based videos though. Maybe we should all help out and make a Deathrace inspired film haha.

 

@BabaR. Visually great. You don't see many videos that utilise the sunset as a key feature. I think when done right, it can make it look quite realistic. Pitty the Mountain Lion looks fake, but thats Rockstar's fault.
