Femme Fatale
10. Army Men Sarge's Heroes 1 & 2 Buggy and hard as hell, but still entertaining. 9. Resident Evil Outbreak 1 & 2 So underrated. 8. Donkey Kong Country 2 Epic soundtrack. 7. Manhunt Good ol' over the top gore. 6. Bully Rockstar's cute self parody of GTA. 5. Pokemon Gold Spent countless hours and batteries on my Game Boy because of this game. 4. GTA San Andreas Officially introduced me to GTA, it will always have a special place in my heart. 3. Paper Mario I love the concept, the soundtrack, the replay value, everyf*ckingthing. 2. GTA IV + EFLC The real masterpiece, f*ck V + Online, and blah, blah, blah; no reason to repeat the same damn thing after five years. 1. Goldeneye The Godfather of first person shooting, multiplayer fun before Halo and CoD got their filthy hands on the concept. GTA IV + EFLC know that I love them, but I'm sure they'll understand that Goldeneye will always be my number one. Honourable mentions. -The Forza Horizon series. -Red Dead Redemption. -Max Payne 3. Time for a revised list.. Mostly unchanged except I would place Red Dead Redemption 2 in second place and Vice City back down to third. LA Noire should be on this list too, but it looks like I didn't fit it in. Amazing game. I also seem to have forgotten to mention Detroit: Become Human in my honourable mentions list as well as Spiderman (2018) and God Of War (2018) since I made this before I played them. trip
I still maintain that these types of lists are impossible. Games have been around for so long now it's easy to forget a game you loved until someone/something jogs your memory. I think I can get as far as: Donkey Kong(arcade) Vice City After those two games my list would be totally inconsistent from day to day. Plus there is a good chance there would be 9 other arcade games listed before Vice City...depending on the day. I owe my life and livelihood to Space Invaders. Should it be on my list? All these toy with my mind. I'd like to say "I hope you all have as rich and long a gaming life as I have". But I'm not sure that is really a positive thing. FadeAway
1. GTA Vice City. 2. GTA lll. 3. Vigilante 8: Second Offense. 4. Driver. 5. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. 6. WWF SmackDown!. 7. Resident Evil 2. 8. Crazy Taxi. 9. Paperboy. 10. Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Bonus mentions: GTA San Andreas. Along with lll and Vice City were the games I played the most. Vigilante 8. The first one as well. Combat car game that IMO was ahead of its time. The arcade remake thingy that was created didn't do it justice. Big Mutha Truckers. Racing trucker game hauling goods. The world is almost kind of GTA but with trucks. Another game I think was ahead of its time with First Person View way before GTA V did. Noire Knights and Merchants Silent Storm Sentinels Mafia MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries Mount and Blade: Warband GTA San Andreas Age of Empires III (yeah I prefer it over II, fight me). Nearly in the list is Ghost Recon: Wildlands (not the greatest game but I put a good amount of hours into it), some FIFA or PES, Fallout 3, Mario: 6 Golden Coins, GTA III. Updated list for 2019: Red Dead Redemption Red Dead Redemption 2 GTA 3 GTA VC GTA SA GTA IV GTA V Forza Motorsport 6/7 (7 is like an improved 6 but they're kinda similar) Forza Horizon 4 Mafia 1 On 1/4/2019 at 2:33 PM, Mister Pinkerton said: I'll reshift mine: 1. I think the story in IV is better in some sense but the writing doesn't quite hold up. GTA V is somewhat better in that regard (obviously RDR2 is even better) but even the game world itself feels more alive than IV. That's one aspect that I really love in GTA games: the immersion of the world itself. Also, how come you prefer FH2? I found it a bit too basic and repetitive compared to the newer games. I'm kinda grinding through the races for 100% right now. Thank god they're short. I'm kinda grinding through the races for 100% right now. Thank god they're short. Yeah, you know V should be there. I actually just forgot about it. Story wasn't great for me. Character switching mechanic was a bit gimmicky for my tastes and microtranstions and the grind-fest killed my love for something that I think is great concept in many ways. I did get good few hours, singleplayer + multiplayer, so I'm happy. GTA V is better than huge amount of games. I'm just harsh on it because there are some aspects where I know Rockstar could do better. I agree, the immersion of the world itself really counts and GTA V's city is one of the best cities in GTA in terms of never getting stuck in dead ends and general flow and manoeuvrability around the city is great. Wasn't a fan of the shape of the map and it feels a bit islandy (no major towns up the north end) but overall it's a good game. Still waiting on a GTA that really speaks to me and my tastes like RDR2 does in many ways. IV would if it had the scope of features San Andreas or V had. I love the dark, gritty feel but felt let down by lack of features. If GTA V and GTA IV had a baby.. grittiness and more mature tone of IV with the features of V or San Andreas then we'd have a winner, in my book. I don't have Forza: Horizon 3. I haven't played it. I've only played H4. H4 is great but I cancelled my Game Pass sub because Horizon is one of the few games I like to play online. I'm good at Horizon 2 online. I win a lot. I like the simplicity of it. I love the points system. I try drive clean with no assists (except I only have damage set to 'cosmetic') and I like winning on points even if I don't come first every time. When they patch Horizon 4 this month and have less team stuff and hopefully less stupid cross country madness, I'll come back to it. Your post from September reminded me that Hitman: Blood Money should definitely be on my list. Probably instead of Sonic. That was the first Hitman game I ever got. Blew my mind. DEALUX
Yeah, playing V after RDR 2 is really odd. Everything is so dated. Oh, your character fell and touched its head against something? Instant death. RDR 2 is more lenient in that regard (probably because your horse would kill you every 5 minutes with V's physics). I'd have Hitman 2 (the original) in my list perhaps but it was a bit flawed and buggy. The games kinda lost their charm after Blood Money. jpm1
my list has changed recently. actually it's still exactly the same, except that in 1 & 2 i add Mafia III in 1, and very close behind Elite dangerous. i still think the town of light is still one of the most amazing artistic creation of all times, all supports combined. Mafia III is amazing on all levels. cinematics, city details, storyline, graphics. Elite dangerous is a momument in term of coding. 1984 Eilte was already a masterpiece, and actually the father of all space sims. sadly i never played it. this is why it took me so long to jump into ED. 80% of Star citizen promises are already implemented in ED. and this is what is really mindblowing with that game. they didn't make any noise, and they made something monumental. in ED you can roam billions of systems, and there's no 2 similar systems. since the 2nd update they included the planet landing, which is amazingly realistic, beautiful, and well made you can't see it on the pic but i actually started from a city on that image one of the thousands, maybe millions of panoramas you can come across in ED Edited February 26, 2019 by jpm1

The_B1u3_Jay
1) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - This was the first GTA i've ever played and beat. I loved the RPG mechanics, the characters were really entertaining, and the game was packed with constant fun things to do. 2) Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakining (Special Edition) - I don't really care much for the hack and slash genre, except for this one series. The game was hard as hell when i first played it, as i couldn't even beat the second mission. But after multiple failed attempts, i finally beat it. I love this game for its amazing combat, entertaining story, and hard difficulty. 3) Resident Evil 4 - this was my first RE game, and i first played this on the Nintendo Wii. It's extremely addictive, and has countless hours or replaying value. Don't get me started on the Mercinaries mode. Another reason i love this game is because of its beta game, which created the DMC series. 4) Dead Rising - I also played this on the Nintendo wii first. It was one of the first games i bought for my first Xbox 360 i got in 2011 for Christmas. while the survivor A.I. is awful, the game itself is fun. It had tons of Psychopaths, a huge shopping mall full of zombies and weapons to break over their heads. You could also save you "art" by taking pictures. 5) Red Dead Redemption: Game Of The Year Edition - i was looking for a new game to play, i went to Wal*Mart on black friday and i had about 50 dollars. I saw RDR on sale for about 20 dollars, and i saw the R* games logo on it. I wasn't expecting anything special, but it ended up bacoming on ofmy favorite vidde games of all time. I can only list 5 as of right now. TheSantader25

Laker23
The Witcher 3. The Uncharted series - won't list them all as it would take up half the list. I'll just say Uncharted 2 was the pinnacle of the series. The Last of Us. The GTA series - same for Uncharted, won't list them all. Vice City being the GOAT here, for me. Goldeneye Horizon Zero Dawn Gran Turismo 3 and 4 - difficult to pick the best one. Red Dead Redemption 2 Mario Kart Tomb Raider 2 - Honorable mention to Nintendo in general, I don't play the games now but the 64 easily gave me my best childhood memories for gaming. - These lists are practically impossible, honestly. I'm 99% sure there's multiple games I'm not remembering, and narrowing them all down to a top 10 is ridiculously hard. The only thing I can say with certainty is both TW3 and Uncharted 2 share the top spot, the rest are in a completely random order.
