For the Legend green, is there any way it could be a bit darker? turned out to be very light, if you need a photo of the jester, i gotchu but the north shore blue came out perfect

Don't know how much darker you need so I'll bring some darker hexes:
- #214a33ff (40%)

- #1c3e2bff (50%)

- #163222ff (60%)

- #102519ff (70%)

Also, this legend green supra 

#0a1f3eFF definitely isn't perfect but its alr for the blue

#2f553cFF is as good is im gonna get at that green

#1a4443 is the best! I matte the color and pearl with silver, thx

Hello all, I'm trying to learn to make crew colors for myself and need a little advise from the experts here.

Which part of the car do usually take samples from when using a color picker? 

 

Appreciate if someone could mark the areas on the image below. Thanks in advance.

Would love to see someone do this color. I tried the hex someone suggested but it was much too pale of a yellow.

I often get the color right at my first or second attempt, so it's a good tip for you. I'll use this Porsche as an exemple: it has a bright color so I'd want to select a bright spot to extract it's color - so, somewhere at the car's door, above that darker line. This would give me an almost exact code, as it has the overall saturation of the color. You'd only have to darken it 20 or 30% to make it look good in game and that's it.

Thanks so much for the tip @Tuntchio. Turns out I had it all wrong. I normally used to pick below the darker line.

Last one worked out perfectly, I ended up going with the lighter code with a gasoline pearl instead of the sea wash
