Got the HEX from the picture of the Green Regera and darkened it about 25% and got 051D1CAA

 

 

 

- Used Cream on the pic but Ice White is probably better

I've tried both Regera green and while they're both great colours, they're quite different, Ursusaurus' seems deeper and fuller while Toelias' has that bottle green feel to it.

I know you both used the same picture to pick the colour from but to me Ursusaurus' is closer to that picture while Toelias' is closer to the actual car.

I've never seen that car in real life but a quick Google search shows that that particular picture is not a true representation of the actual colour and has heavy filters applied.

It goes to show that there are so many variables in nailing a real life colour. The picture you use, your own perception of the colour, your screen settings etc.

Anyway, I ended up keeping both colours

Tried to find a great looking Silver/Steel colour, thought it came out nicely:

^ I came across this hex while experimenting and it is indeed a great silver, I've got it with diamond blue on one of my mambas.

Nice one.

 

Edit: I see the Wagner is released, this silver would suit it very well!

The reason why is, I think that the car files store color as two things. Instead of it being the equivalent of "primary = #050505" it would be "primary = carbonblack" and separately carbonblack would be defined as #050505.

 

When you change a car's color to "crew" it stores that momentary "crew" value of, say, #123456. If you then change your crew color and attempt to apply #ABCDEF as a secondary, #123456 is overwritten with #ABCDEF. Why? Because there's only "crew" and not "crew_primary" and "crew_secondary" etc.

 

Remember, crew colors are for more than cars -- the whole reason the default color chooser is stuck on brighter colors is that the crew blips have to be visible on the map.

 

I wish there was a more robust and detailed way of coloring cars without all these backdoors and workarounds. It's fun when you figure it out, but super tedious when you're looking at 100+ cars you want to customize. As I've said many times, Rockstar should put more effort into expanding customization options -- no one's buying Shark Cards to play Adversary modes.

 

 

I am probably only one so it's just exception which approves the rule but i own Turismo R with 2 types of crew color (neon red and pure black on roof). I have no idea how its possible or what was the exact process but back in past on ps3 i was just able to apply second crew color without any overlapping from previous crew color. Unfortunately I was never able to replicate it again.

Joonasprkl have in his spreadsheet under pearlescent on this color that it's Worn Baby Blue but that's not obtainable in classic way, right?

LSC Metallic Saxon Blue and Metallic Mariner Blue comes with the Worn Baby Blue pearlescent.

So basically you could recreate it if you set your crew color to Ultra Blue hex #0055C4AA and then first buy either Metallic Saxon/Mariner Blue and then Crew Color.

You'll lose a bit of reflection if you are on consoles since it's using the utility texture but still close.

I used this same color on mine and went with a Ice White Pearl instead of Diamond Blue.

 

I think it's closer to the color in the photo Chimp posted.

I have tried Joonas' blue before... The issue i have with this car is the satinized texture, paint jobs look mushy to me. Wish it had the same texture as the cunning stunts cars.

Wasn't aware you were tgutan on youtube, but I don't come on much anymore.

You have some sweet ass colours, awesome job. I'm only subscribed to 2 GTA V crew colour channels and yours is one of them. Hoping you can come out with a lot more soon, I keep lists of screenshots of colours I like and share them with my friends, and a good majority are from your youtube. Keep up the good work.

Did this a little while ago, its a very nice Bronze type colour, fits perfectly to the Zentorno.
