Kustom Crew Color Requests

Yes it is possible, the method is also shown on the first page of this thread.

1. Buy Metals-paintjob

2. Go to Metallic and hover over a color, don't buy it

3. Go back and Buy a new license plate

4. Go back to respray and you should now be able to choose the Pearlescent now.

This also works with other paintjobs such as Matte and Chrome (although chrome won't show the pearlescent much iirc)

Hey guys!

First of all, I wanted to thank you all for the great work you guys have done (been a lurker of this thread for quite a while).

However, I was wondering if there is a 'cheaper' way of testing crew colors that will be mixed with other paint jobs (ie Pearls, metals).

What I currently do for pearls is get multiple random cars in my garage painted with the pearls I want to try, and hover over the crew color to see how it would look. Effective? Yes. Efficient? Not really.

So does anyone have a better alternative? (I'm on PS4 if that makes any difference)

Thanks in advance!

No Use For A Name

That's pretty much what I do. I have most of the expensive pearls already on a lot of my cars. For cheaper pearls I'll just choose the one I want to preview it, then change it back when I'm done.

How do I enter the colors with just numbers?

Just put the RGB into Google and grab the HEX. Majority of people on LG/PC will/have to use a menu so might be a habit for him to use numbers.

Work smarter, not harder.

You'd have to change various lines with numbers, where only one line with the HEX..and changing just the numbers wouldn't work anyways because you need to enter the endings..

You gotta convert it, I personally use Numbers (Mac's "Excel") since I have a spreadsheet for the colors I like. But you can convert them manually or use some service, like: http://www.rgbtohex.net

Hi all,

I can't set #71A55FF00 as crew color if I use the inspect element way.

It's the cotton candy soft green made by Kushology (page 11 in the showroom topic)

Anyone knows what I can do ?

That's because it's supposed to be 6 digits and letters, plus whatever at the end. Try #71A55F, it's probably just a typo.

Bump, would appreciate greatly the HEX.

Can anyone get the hex? Attached multiple images just to give a more accurate representation of the color. Cheers!

I didn't try it in game, Google just didn't recognise it with double F, but a lighter green came up with only one F.

This 70's dark green please. For reference the dark green in game is still too light for the car I'm making. tbird1977darkjadenomoldings.jpg

Whats the colour on this Tampa? Thanks

It's one of the regular L.S.C. Browns with a filter and graphics mod altering its look.

This green for my Elegy Retro please and thank you.

I believe this color is Millennium Jade for the R34 but it looks a little bit more saturated because of the filter so I based my colors off of that sI3aE78.jpg . Here is the first one I made which is a little bit darker than the second one. They both use frost white pearl.

VnRpjx4.png

58, 63 , 56 #3A3F38AA

Second one which is a little bit lighter than the other one.

64, 70, 62 #40463E

I personally like the first one more.

I'm curious if this is the same as that colour, they look pretty much the same to me and I want it for my Dukes, so maybe we could kill two birds with one stone here and both get the colour we want. I believe they're both B5 Bright Blue Poly in the color chart below.

charge22.jpg

Zanthera once made Lake Placid Blue, a Fender Stratocaster colour for me, they look close to me, you could try with different pearls. It looks brighter in sunlight.

#002C3AAA

I'll give that one a try, thanks.

Curious how this turned out for you? I'm a bit picky..

I'm also curious to how it'll look with Worn Baby Blue or a light blue pearlescent in general though..

I'm kinda picky too, haha. I've tested it a bit, but then the sunset started in game and took away any decent lighting, so I'm posting my current findings so I don't forget which pearl is which, I'll edit more in later when I experiment a bit more. I left the real life picture in the quote spoiler for comparison.

This is it with Ultra Blue Pearl

iXSJ77h.jpg

Edit: Light Blue Pearl

zQ4IctJ.jpg

Diamond Blue Pearl

R972BKR.jpg

Edit: Ice White Pearl(I noticed no real difference between this and Frost White Pearl)

CIc2duy.jpg

Heres my try on it! dKHlFnv.png0RbQzTU.png 0, 43, 76 #002B4CAA with a baby blue pearl. And I have a question, how do you insert images directly into the forum where you can see it instead of having to click the link?

Nice colour, I can see now that lake placid blue has a bit too much green. To add a picture, if you're on a pc or laptop you can simply right click on any image, click copy image, click in the reply box and press "ctrl" + "v" to paste it. If you're on a tablet or phone you hold the image and tap open image, then copy the url for it, then in the reply box type img without any spaces and paste the url in between the 2 "boxes". It should look like this [img ]http://www.imagehostname.com/image.jpg[/img], again, without spaces. Edited by the nameless

Imgur has an easy way to do it. Click on the photo you want to link in your library and hit "Copy" next to the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" part. Just paste that link into your comment and it'll show up. You can also do a "Linked BBCode" too.
