Kustom Crew Color Requests

Zan, is there any way you could create a support ticket? It's f*cked up they banned your PC account for literally no reason and you may have a fighting chance. Sorry to hear about it, though.

I would but I'm too worried they'd find some f*cked up reason to ban my XBone account too. They say all ban decisions are final and cannot be appealed so I think even if I did they'd just ignore it.

I checked my XBone account last night and it is ok, I also found out the car I have in garage 1 slot 1 which I think is the car they leave you is a Elegy Retro worth 800 grand so that'll help once I get back on, providing they don't take all of my cars.

I hear you man. I had an automatic "no" from them when trying to transfer my PS4 account to PC because of money in my account, and once I saw they were rather hostile on the ticket I just let it go and took it as a sign. I was afraid something might happen to my PS4 account but luckily it's been all good.

Sorry to hear that, Zanthera. I hope you don't have to wait that long to play the game again.

Banned from online until the 25th of March, but honestly I think there would not have been that much other than the improved graphics for me to do online, many of my friends are still on XBone and honestly it's just the ease of use which appeals to me more on a console rather than PC.

Besides, about 40% of my paints can be made on PC which kinda takes away from their uniqueness, so having them on console makes me feel happy to have them.

If a kind soul has time to help me nail this colour, I'd be delighted.

I've gotten close but not enough. I'm not sure if it's the base colour or the pearl but something is not quite right.

Before posting, I've checked the thread, searching for "dodge", "charger", "rolling thunder" but came up empty, apologies if this has been done before.

Have you tried one of the "not so black" blacks and olive green pearlescent? Just a suggestion. Olive Green would seem to be best pearl for that.

When I was experimenting with colors in the deep olive range like this, I found that Worn Sea Wash seemed to be the most complimentary pearl color. Olive pearl is too dark to pop. Worn Sea Wash pearl isn't directly available at LSC, but you can get it by applying a Metallic Harbor Blue primary before applying the crew color. Metallic Harbor Blue has Worn Sea Wash pearl baked in. This is a sample of one of the experiments with Worn Sea Wash pearl:

L3CQaALAD0SthgLrPabemw_0_0.jpg

Unfortunately, I did not record the base color for this experiment, but it is likely either #0D1603FF or #101E07FF, which were applied to other cars during this exercise.

Stunning, just so you know someone in this thread wanted Verde Ermes on the Huracan and that color looks exactly like it. I would highly recommend letting that guy know. I would but it's not my color and you deserve the credit :)

It was me that wanted Verde Ermes. I ended up making my Tempesta a dark blue instead.

Well if you're still interested I improved massively on it. Start with Harbor Blue metallic and add the crew color #0B1507FF it's very pretty honestly.

I want this colour and I tried one of the codes but it doesn't match. My guess is this is PC exclusive?

I've spent some time tinkering on with the different paint textures / finishes to discover exactly how many variations there are, and I figured this was a good thread to note them all down in case there were any that aren't already known and used for fancy Crew Colours. I'll try to order them from least to most shiny.

Matte

Flat and unpolished, very little reflection.

Used on:

  • All matte colours (including LSC)
  • Worn Olive Army Green
Screenshots:

LQHY8fw.jpg

pbtyS7A.jpg

Worn

Dull, broad reflections, like a metallic paint with the clearcoat mostly rubbed off. Not available in LSC.

Used on:

  • Most Worn colours
Screenshots:

076DZAG.jpg

E6G5P3q.jpg

Faded Utility

Moderately glossy with slightly smudged reflections - generic low-quality gloss paint. Mostly used on dark colours in LSC.

Used on:

  • Black (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Carbon Black (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Graphite (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Wine Red (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Midnight Blue (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Midnight Purple (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Alloy
Screenshots:

eIXaFYJ.jpg

5YjLIql.jpg

Utility

As Faded Utility above, but with slightly more gloss to it - nearly as glossy as Classic but with duller reflections. Not available in LSC.

Used on:

  • Most Utility colours
Screenshots:

d0Dn0pw.jpg

Ob85CYC.jpg

Classic

The average, normal texture - quite glossy with sharp reflections, what you'd expect from clean, new car paint.

Used on:

  • Most Classic and Metallic paints (including LSC)
  • Utility Garnet Red
Screenshots:

7ppIQA0.jpg

9cs024p.jpg

Epsilon

A very high-gloss version of the Classic texture, the glossiest paint available.

Used on:

  • Epsilon Blue
  • Diamond Blue (LSC Classic / Metallic)
  • Ice White (LSC Classic / Metallic)
Screenshots:

pEma6gt.jpg

XSJOf7j.jpg

Brushed Gold

Shiny metal, but with very little gloss or reflection - almost like a shiny Worn finish.

Used on:

  • Brushed Gold (LSC Metals)
Screenshots:

JdYof1q.jpg

DNHYRyM.jpg

Brushed Metal

An even shinier version of Brushed Gold with very smudged reflections.

Used on:

  • Brushed Aluminium (LSC Metals)
  • Brushed Dark Steel (LSC Metals)
  • Brushed Steel (LSC Metals)
Screenshots:

xser6U3.jpg

TGyKGig.jpg

Pure Gold

A very shiny coloured finish with smudged reflections.

Used on:

  • Pure Gold (LSC Metals)
  • MP100
Screenshots:

LGNIUeX.jpg

7oxSSFn.jpg

Chrome

A mirror finish with sharp reflections and virtually no influence from the base colour.

Used on:

  • Chrome (LSC)
Screenshots:

vJ7VcOO.jpg

wVRLPQ6.jpg

It's quite hard to tell in places the difference between two textures without seeing them side by side, so here's the whole lot as a gallery:

Red

Black

I'd also be curious to know if the base texture for Crew Colours on console is normal Utility or Faded Utility - I suspect it's the latter and they're using MetallicBlack as the colour that the custom RGB is applied to. If anyone wants to test, the colours in my screenshots are LSC Black (#080808) and LSC Red (#690000), and they were taken at 12:00 in sunny weather.

Nice work. :)

It's weird that they use Matte base (EVehicleModelColorMetallic_3) for the Olive Army Green but still call it Worn in game files.

Here's how True Worn (EVehicleModelColorMetallic_5) Olive Army Green #3F4228 would look like on the Penetrator

Similar with Utility Garnet Red - it actually differs to the Metallic version in RGB, not in texture. The lists of colours available in LSC are inconsistent in their own right too, what with Gold in the Classic Category actually being Straw Beige with a pearl and Midnight Purple also differing between Classic and Metallic. Then of course there's the mess that is the wheel colours...

On that topic, the list that you maintain of LSC colours and their corresponding pearlescents is missing the five Classic colours that come with a pearl, and other than Bronze they're all different to the one that they get in the Metallic category:

Dark Steel: MetallicDarkSilver / MetallicBlackSteel

Silver: MetallicSilver / MetallicSilver

Bluish Silver: MetallicBlueSilver / MetallicBlueSilver

Gold: MetallicStrawBeige / MetallicStrawBeige

Bronze: MetallicBronze / MetallicBeechwood

I presume your data mainly comes from the game files - I went for the quick / lazy option of writing a DLL that repeatedly dumped the current car colours to a text file and just scrolled through LSC to find these.

Any ideas for the color and pearl?

Try #0034AD(FF?). No pearl, that top pic looks likes it's been messed with.

I know how to do inspect element, the colour still doesn't come out the same. I don't believe you can put primary then crew on PS4.

Ah yeah I've forgotten to add the Classic section of colors in my list, thanks for reminding.

My datas come from a bit both, from game files and some simple .net scripting.

What are you trying to do exactly? If you mean crew matte or metal, no. You can't.

What are you trying to do exactly? If you mean crew matte or metal, no. You can't.I knew that you couldn't do the primary harbour blue under the crew colour on ps4 for that specific colour, so I tried it backwards with crew and a pearlescent harbour blue to get it to look like that one in the picture, but it didn't work. That's why I was asking if that colour was PC exclusive. I don't want the matte or washed look, I just want the colour from that super in the last pic. It looks doable on PS4 from what I observe but I could be wrong. Edited by DeXiovi

^ No, it's not possible to do Crew+Metal on consoles. What you have there in your Entity is only the mp100 gold pearlescent from the Brushed Gold paintjob.

Texture is still normal Utility that comes with the Crew Colors.

I always never understood what people meant by mp100 gold. I'm sorry for posting false information, I removed it so no one makes my mistake. I think I will just return to lurking and let the professionals be. Lol

LolThe way he got the pearl was buy having Mariner Blue on then putting his crew color on so it kept the pearl which is unattainable otherwise.

I think I will just return to lurking and let the professionals be. Lol

Don't do that. Keep asking questions if you are unsure about anything :)

Just try to explain what you mean in the first post. :p

Also, speaking of asking questions.. Do you have a document of livery colours? Can't find anything in your drive.

Also, was wondering, can you post the cherry blossom tree texture? :inlove:

I have most of the livery colors listed here now but some lists of them that are maintained by others can also be found somewhere over at NoDo-forums and Coregamingps4-forums.

This is probably the cherry blossom tree texture you wanted?

Will check out those forums. Thanks. :)

Yeah, friend was interested in cherry blossom crew colour so thought may as well get direct from source instead of fiddling around with something off google. :pp

No Use For A Name

Not a request but a question.

I painted a car pure gold, decided I didn't like it, so I painted a crew color over it. The result was a pearl I haven't seen before. It looked like gold, but when I went to the pearlescent section it didn't have one. Attaching a pearl would have eliminated the one on there, so I kept it as is. Is this mp100?

I thought I'd done the same thing in the past, and the pearl was always gold.
