Seeing those Mules with the Epsilon texture got me curious about one of my Buccaneers since it looks awfully similar. Is this the Epsilon texture, or just metallic like I originally thought it was? It's Pure Black crew color with black pearl.

It's not as simple as that I'm afraid, the Hex is just regular Pure Black, it's the texture which makes the colour like it is. The only way to get it is on PC or if you previously had it made onto a modded account on console.

EDIT: Zanthera, did you know that the Classic Ice White and Classic Diamond Blue shares the same clear reflections as the Epsilon Blue? I noticed this awhile ago. I have couple pictures of them, using the colors as base + Pure Black to see the reflection quality

I think it's actually more colors than that which are shinier, both metallic and classic colors.

Just compare these 2 for example, focus especially on the white spot on the hood.

Classic Anthracite Black :

 

Classic Graphite :

 

You'll see that on the first color the spot is much clearer compared to the 2nd color.

 

The colors have a more reflective texture in both the metallic and the classic category.

Other colors which are reflective like this are the ones Jonas mentioned, and Galaxy Blue, Cream and more.

No, only on PC. It's still broke the way it's always been.

It's a race glitch car. I spent some time checking out the other textures after making some worn cars and ended up with this. I never thought much of it until I saw the pictures Joonas posted comparing textures on the Mules and realized this car has that same mirror like finish.

 

Edit: After seeing those 3 vans above it's probably just one of those.

I Took a look at the pictures on my PC to see them better and I have a Classic Pure Black Buccaneer and think yours looks Epsilon Pure Black.

 

EDIT: Scratch that, the Buccaneer does not spawn in Ice White or Diamond Blue normally so it would not appear in the spawn cycle in a race, therefore it must be Classic.

Yea sorry it's all a big f*cking pain in the neck, Crew colors will always be the Utility texture and even though there are 25 Worn color which is more than enough for a new category Rockstar still refuses to add a perfectly usable color category to the game.

This is the new Crew emblem for my Corvette Flame Red Crew, this way you can have the color and the 01.

I used this color for my crew and it comes out differently than it appears in the pics above. At first I thought it might be a pearlescent. I cant figure out which one if it has one. My other theory is that the corresponding hex is a bit off from the pictures. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

You are not wrong, I can tell just from a color picker that that is way brighter in the picture, contact the poster and ask them to recheck their Hex.
