Not sure if I'm able to explain this properly, but I'll try.

The old racecars have two different livery textures

Overlay Livery

Base Livery

The newer racecars don't, only one texture for the livery.

The Base texture stays always under the Crew color, so applying a paint job will put the Crew color between these two textures with some sort of blending mode(like Multiply blend mode in Photoshop), so the base textures color will change to darker.

Hmh... It's strange. I better take a look at that. Would there be a hex code that matches the red and turquoise on the Gauntlet and the red and yellow (around the logo on the hood) on the Dominator regardless of the livery blending with the overlay?

I believe it's #898A89 which was found by Joonas on Page 245 of this thread. If I recall, he was getting the hex code for the light grey colour from the Regga Rum Livery of the Drift Tampa.

 

 

 

 

 

I have not yet tried getting the hex code to work but I'll see what I can do to get it to work. I'll edit this post and add the endings of the hex code to get it to work via Inspect Element method.

It's #C62929 for the red on the Air Herler Livery, found by JoonasPRKL on Page 245.
