Hey zan, I've been working on creating a nice looking turismo to the color scheme of the Mclaren MP4/4. I've tried a few oranges(including crew colors) but it's kept being slightly too light to do the color justice. I've noticed in different pictures it can look closer to orange or closer to red. If you could create a color that leans towards the orange side (so that in darker lights it can look closer to red, and in brighter light it'll bring out the orange) that would be amazing. I know this is probably a much harder task to do so whatever you can get works. I appreciate it a bunch!

I requested a similar one awhile ago. It's #CFCC7AFF. It may need a bit more yellow. Try it and tell me what you think. If it's not what you want, I'm sure Zan will get a better match for you.

It's not one of the ugly glowing colors, but still very bright.

Yeah I tried that, I think it was too bright if I remember right, I tried all the regular color combos and nothing was really satisfying

I feel like we will able to make metals with rgb one day

Remeber a few times ago it was even not possible to put pearl on crew

Now we can change crew color without changing texture

Next step we can choose texture

 

You can do that. Put on a metal or matte then crew color. Quit the game then restart it. Next time you go into online the car will be metal/matte. Worked with the brightest metal for me with the x80.

You forgot to mention this only works on PC, it does not work on any of the consoles. We have all tried many times.

And I was wondering if you could use that ability to find out what colors are on the Rancher XL in the story mode prologue mission. I realize that's a snowy version that can't be replicated on current-gen consoles now, but nevertheless I was hoping to know the colors underneath the snow. If it's not too much trouble...thanks!

I checked the color of the Rancher XL in prologue, its Black&Black with Bluish Silver pearlescent

Restarted couple times to see if it spawns in different color but it was always the same color.

Normally the Yankton Rancher has same spawn colors as the regular Rancher XL.
