What's the HEX for this one?

 

 

 

Wanna compare that to your final version and Zan's latest and make my final decision. All 3 of them are the best versions i've seen yet hands down.

 

 

EDIT: Ah ok gotcha. I just entered your final version on the socialclub website. I'm going to go on and compare yours and Zan's and make a final call in a few minutes. I don't know how i'm going to choose haha.

How did my name end up changing to Yan in the quote?

 

From what I can see this color is mostly Red based so trying to make it more Orange won't work. Whenever I get a pick from it it is mostly Red with a little Green making it Orange, most picks do not have any Blue in them so there is no need to include that in the Hex. When there is a color that is final and only have one to three units of one of the colors I tend to just make that color zero. This also corrects for any brightness or contrast issues within the picture resulting in the same color in game as there is a certain degree of brightness and contrast that will alter the colors appearance.

 

 

My #551100AA looks to be the nearest there is. You have to take into consideration that the color needs to be picked from the darkest part of the car, if you look at the front right of the car and see how dark it is there, so yo have to match that color as a base and then the color will appear as it does in the brighter areas in the sinlight.

I have to say I like Zan's final version the best.

 

#551100AA is that perfect mix of red/orange that i've been looking for to make this color work with the Yellow Pearl.

Uh why are you arguing with me? The request has been dealt with and the requester happy with the color, we now move on to the next request. If one needs altering it's altered accordingly, no need to start a battle about which one is right.

Personally I wouldn't but maybe one of the darker Blues, there definitely isn't an obvious Pearl here.

No they look good, the only thing I will say is that every color that is posted must have the Hex code along with it, even if it is posted more than once within a few posts. It makes it as easy as possible for someone to use if they want it, then they don't have to go searching for it.

Not that many lately perhaps, but I don't think a new thread is needed.If you look through 30 pages on this thread how many pictures of cars in GTA with a Hex colour on it will you find? not many. Probably loads of people requesting a colour with a pic of a real car and Zan replying with the Hex code for them. Whereas in a sharing only thread you'll have 30 pages of pics in game and be able to find something you like way faster.

 

If you go on a car appreciation thread you'll see the same car in a photo on over 80% of posts. I don't think this thread is populated like that in terms of seeing a colour.

 

Maybe even leave this as Request and Share but still add a Share only thread. Even if it's not popular you'll have people like me sharing EVERY crew colour I know and a big long page of photos
