Kustom Crew Color Requests

Yeah, my biggest fear with this update was that they'd get rid of pearl on crew on PC. It seemed pretty unlikely but I wouldn't put anything past Rockstar at this point.

So I have found out that something has changed with Crew colors after the update, the brighter colors now are even more bright and can sometimes glow like they used to. I found this to happen with the brightest pink which is #FF00FF, it has now changed from a nice subtle bright pink to a very bright glowing pink even though it's the same Hex. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

EDIT: Actually the Crew colors are have only changed a bit, not too drastically like i originally thought, but they are definitely still brighter.

All colors still work, it's just that some of the colors with really high Hexes are now quite a lot brighter. So of you really wanted glowing colors are possible again.

There is a trick you need to do to get it to save, there is a tutorial in the first post, it's easy once you understand it. If you need help with it just ask.

I have made a Royal Blue that is close and I have the direct Hex for Slate Blue.

zanthera I think you had asked me to check the other metals. So I just did them all using pure black (1,0,0 rgb)

Very interesting, it's strange how they all ended up the same shade of grey. It's quite possible that Pure Black just won't show up.

 

If you would not mind there is only one more color I'd like you to try. It's my Crew equivalent of Worn Dark Red which is #200702. If you would not mind can you check this as Pure Gold and Brushed Dark Steel.

 

The three Grey brushed colors all have the same reflective texture but Brushed and Pure Gold both have unique ones. This will be the last request.

 

EDIT: Quick note Could you do the Pearlescent trick to remove the bright yellow Pearl so the color is as pure as possible. If you make it Black Pearl then it'll be just the Pure Gold. The color would best reflect in sunlight so maybe next time could you take the pictures out in the daylight please.

Forgive the list, i do this when testing the colors, sort of a makeshift note pad. Once the final color has been decided the list will be reduced to one color.

The Matte looks great, its nice to see what it would look like. The Pure Gold looks great too.

 

Woah wait, so you can select whatever texture you want and then select whatever RGB you want? Do you also have access to all of the hidden colors like Worn and Utility?
