Either way, I think close but maybe a little too desaturated, could do with a touch more pink maybe?

Yeah, I wish rockstar would pull there finger out of their asses and make a whole update dedicated to 50s and 60s cars with old jags, chevys, buicks, hudsons etc. Lots of chrome and tail fins. The car I wanted that colour from was a 1960 dodge polara (2 or 3 pages back).

I found a better picture for Oro Elios, since I finally looked at the hex but it was too dark and too saturated. Looked like an orange brown actually.

It wasn't the best match, hard to get the right shade with the darker colours. The photo was also taken at night time with a random npc vehicle.

 

 

 

I'm sorry but what the hell is this? how could anyone gauge this colors possible errors with the picture being so damn dark. I'll have another look at the color but if you take a picture please do it in the day time.

I think that may just be a normal L.S.C. Purple, it looks darker because of the filter on the picture.

Zanthera and/or Joonas, is there an exact science to the way you find colours from images? For example, I used a few colour picking sites to get dea4ae from a car picture. Is there a guarenteed percentage to darken it by? On the image below, which one would come up in game as 76% (dea4ae)?

I've wondered this as well.

 

On a related note, I fiddled around on that website for quite a while trying to get a colored similar to the one you posted there. I settled on #8f5c56A. Try it out, it might work for your needs.

It's just a case of knowing where abouts the RGB needs to be. Some colors require more or less darkening so it's really just trial and error.

Given the Tornado's one of my classic favorites from old gta games, I decided to try out making the original paints for a 1958 Chevy to go well with the car. Below are the 16 colors for that year I could find. I couldn't post my images as it was telling me my "extensions not supported"? So I just linked the video I have of em with more angles of the paints.

The Dark Copper rim color is the same color as LSC Classic/Metallic Bronze (#4A341B)

Classic/Metallic Bronze comes with Woodbeech Brown pearl, just remove it and you'll see its the same color.

and the Bronze rim color = Util Medium Brown (#3D311D)
