NuclearRain777
I saw videos of GTA Online, which were made during Christmas, and there was quite a lot of snow. So I was wondering, Since in May it rains a lot, I was thinking we could have some sort of stormy weather and things like that. Post your opinions below. Mourticae
I wouldn't mind some harsh weather for a while. It would certainly mix things up for the folks in the air and at sea. Tonyduzit
NuclearRain777
I know, maybe it could be that there is no wind, but just moving mist? And some high altitude thunder clouds and heavy rain. Edited April 5, 2015 by NuclearRain777
jjeehh21
I like the idea of perhaps having lobbies that have certain weathers. Like a lobby that has snow, then a lobby with rain such as you said.

SRTTURBO4
Interesting idea. How about flooding with heavy rains and lightening storms with a sprinkle of hail? Very spring like weather. And have occasional lightening strikes going to ground say in the desert or city. It would be really cool to be driving around and then BAMO! A bolt of sizzling lighting hits the ground near your car. Totally random, of course. And the flooding should be in naturally low laying areas and be several feet deep. lol jjeehh21

Setzaroth
The turbulence is already super unrealistic. Keep the weather as it is. XJpostman and jjeehh21

Maya Echo Visari
I miss the murderous sandstorms from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Flying a plane at a reasonably low altitude was often a bad idea as you'd get blown from left to right, combined with piss-poor visibility you were lucky you didn't crash. It was always a fun challenge trying to fly during that.
einjzmolf
You should try out the Titan Crash Landing in the Online Flight School. I wish that was a random weather setting ingame, hurricane force winds and pouring rain.
Sean O'God
Neat suggestion. It's really disappointing how infrequent thunderstorms are, especially since R* did such a great job with them. I've seen thunderstorms only a handful of times in Online and I've been playing since last gen's launch. If R* only made storms more frequent, I'd be happy. inb4itsSoCal,itshouldn'trainfrequentlyhahaherher ya f*ck you

Ghost XB
So normal rain makes some vehicles almost impossible to drive, why not just add rainstorms! Good idea. But thats just In my opinion! (I updated my sig, check it out)

Because of fun. A lot of people enjoyed the snow when it was around, and huge snowfall for days in LA isn't too realistic. What's the harm in slightly more frequent badass thunderstorms? Setzaroth
The length of the snow's presence was a logistical decision so more people would be able to enjoy it. It usually is only meant to be there for a day or 2 but this last season the network was attacked and R* extended it. The thunderstorms are incredibly rare though, I'm not opposed to having a few more because even for a So-Cal setting, there are too few. I have been playing since the PS3 and can only remember seeing 1 maybe 2 with noticeable lightning. On the other hand, I'm a pilot, and having more storms just means more waiting around for it to clear since dive bombs during turbulence is pretty much a death sentence in the Hydra.
