@Tick: Honestly laughed out loud at that one!!!

@Everyone: Just finished making a little race, didn't have time to go through it a ton so made it kind of quick. Ran through it a couple times and kinda difficult going at fast speed. Should be alright.

Great meet tonight. Was REALLY bummed my snapmatic wasn't working so I couldn't snap any photos. Started the meet out with voting. Congrats to the following!!:
PoisonedGas- Best car matching outfit
AssassinBlitz96- Car most likely to drive
DeInEmA68- Car most likely to appear in fast and furious
MTBB47- Best of show

After awhile, we jumped right into it and went ahead and tested out my custom race track I had made today. And......... Was a success!! Went smoothly and greater than expected. After a bit of cruising, we then proceeded to engaging in a demo derby on the top of a car parking garage. After many rounds of this (which was loads of fun!) we brought back the "Bull game" although this time in a better location. We then ended the meet with some leisurely ATV/Dirtbike riding.

Great meet overall, got a bit slow at some points but that's only to blame on the host! Really hope to see you guys back for the next one. Amazing group to be able to play with every time. Thanks again everyone!

Feedback:
I really need to cut these down. Sorry for the book.

Writing feedback for Shake is such a chore as so much happens that it's hard to cover everything. Right, first we met at the docks which was a great spot to meet and a personal favorite of mine. We spent a good amount of time there and I quickly realized that this lobby wouldn't be as talkative as the last one. I was seriously bummed that we had 11 consistent players yet only half of them talked to each other. One even had a (faulty) mic yet didn't use it to say one word. I tried to engage conversations but they never lasted - I guess it was too late/too early for some to discuss with others as driving is already hard to do, right? Hard feeling aside, those that would reply to my dumb comments were a blast to have and I even met some new players! After the pier meet-up and voting, we made a nice cruise to the start of the first event. Bummed it was done in Content Creator (as a race - the only option in Creator that doesn't let you take pictures) as I couldn't snap some pics but I did something I rarely do: participate. And I mean fully participate as I wasn't stopping for pics and such.

The first event, which was a drag race with turns (if it can be summed up) was confusing at first but once everyone (well, I) understood we replayed that thing as much as we could. Some players sadly had issues with connecting to the race but luckily the event wasn't that long. There was two teams with 5-6 cars each. Two cars went against one another and once they did the course, they would come back and pass a checkpoint to which the next in line would go. A relay race, if you will. I was amazed at how much work Shake put into it and I want this to be his standard. Some seriously good work on that one!

After completing that first event, we cruised a bit more and stopped to a spot or two - honestly, that part was easily forgettable compared to the other stuff but it gave everyone a chance to chill for a bit. I would suggest that between each game (depending on how long they last - if longer make it between each two games) let the whole lobby take a small recess for bathroom and snacks. I actually don't remember if you made those spots for recess or not - I honestly forgot! Those forgettable stops could be used as recess and let people take pictures if they feel like it. Don't let those spots let you down as, when you really think about it, you're using car meet spots as breaks between games. It's basically the equivalent of sh*tting on car meets as you take car meet spots for resting between fun games.

After cruising to said spots, we met up in a parking garage and I was confused as to what we were doing. Parking garages are so boring in meets; climb up, don't get scratched and then go back down. Parking garages can become the worst spot of a meet as the slow speed can annoy players. Once at the top, Shake explained the next game. Once the instructions were out, rules were thrown in as the round went and I enjoyed the impulse of these rules - the curve balls thrown our way just to make the game hell for us. The game was pretty much sumo wrestling where players, using their cars, needed to push other players out of the arena. Those that were "out" would form a line with their cars and if those cars were touched the player that touched the car-line was out. Shake definitely needs to write down all possible rules and spice up the rounds with different rules each time such as the "one wheel on the ramp at all times" or new ones such as "go in reverse" or "swap cars". As the round goes, Shake could yell out new rules and keep the players on their toes.

The last game was the crowd favorite; the Bull game (still no name, huh?). It's the perfect way to end a meet...but the meet kept going strong! Players were into it and kept playing. It lasted a long time and I was surprised some still stuck around after. I think it's because Shake upgraded the game to a new location which made the bulls go in circles and giving an "invisible timer" to the "bitches" (named by Shake as the players who needed to avoided the bulls - lovely) to change position. A lot of bitches got rammed hard by bulls and I was luckily watching to catch the whole action. Wait, that's not what I mean.

We ended the meet with some ATV/Motocross riding and some cop killing. We crashed at my apartment, Chief stole my bike and MT showed us his loch ness monster. Shake meets are becoming my favorite - great times for hosting and all the usuals I love usually show up. Meeting new players is always fun, too, but bummed that many didn't engaged in conversations. Shake meets remind me a lot of when I started joining meets, proper meets. When I started discovering car meets can be more than park up and cruise. Minigames and randomness thrown in for good measure, you know? I feel Shake is close to that hosting stage of where he knows what he needs to fix and what he needs to keep. So no complaints from me as I had a very gay time. In both ways.

Oh, you'll see in the pics that this blonde chick was shooting a gun for no reason at some points such as the pier and also stancing her car in front of the group at the LS Customs. I wish for Shake to tell anyone to stance cars AWAY from the group. We were lucky as no cops showed up but it could've went wrong real quick.

No more clowning around,
let's see what was found!

As traditions go, here's what I was wearing. I will admit I was slightly terrified of what I've become:

Why do people lower their cars?! Doesn't look great for pictures:

We chilled here for a bit which was a really good spot to chat:

About to start the voting...man, do we look like professional judges!

The first category was "Best car matching outfit" which went to PoisonedGas. Congrats!

The classic "Car you'd most likely drive in real life" was won by AssassinBlitz96. Congrats!
0_0.jpg

The third category was "Most likely to be seen in the Fast & Furious", which De won. Congrats!
0_0.jpg

Finally, "Best of Show" was won by MT. Congrats!

With our tuners ready, we set off:
0_0.jpg

And met up at this club for the first event - Dance Dance Revolution Championship!
0_0.jpg

Actually, not pictured due to the event being in Content Creator (race), we had a sweet race really reminiscent of Fast & Furious where there's a race that's set by a GPS and Paul Walker takes a wrong turn and tries to reroute himself (you know which one!):
0_0.jpg

We did the event about two times so between lobbies I took the opportunity to snap a pic or two of my ride:

I thought it looked great!

The Pokemon Chart where the Futo is Squirtle, the Kuruma is Wartortle and the Khamelion is Blastoise: - it's evolving!

Everywhere I looked there was a sweet tuner to stare at:

But some drivers didn't like being watched:

They made it quite clear:

The only explosion of the meet - still unexplained as to what happened:

All of our cars were fine so no harm done...just worried about police attention:

Luckily we hired security - this very androgynous looking person:

Some say he used to sing for Guns 'N Roses:

Outkast had no idea how his phone worked. Here he is looking at his wallpaper wondering why the camera doesn't work:

The LS Customs giving us many good vantage points:

The winner of "Douchebag Parking" goes to the owner of this car. Congrats!

Goddamnit, De!

There we go!

The next event was tons of fun:

Contestants had to push others off the ramp or outside the arena:

But there was a lot of "hugging" going on:

Being a photograph is a dangerous job!

But so is being bait as De shakes his little tush on the catwalk ramp:

MT going for the bait!

The BMW almost getting MT but he luckily escaped!

A quick rule was added in when 3 players were left where a wheel was required to touch the ramp at all times. Here's MT losing as he flips on his side:

The winner! I believe this is Rice - congrats!

With the first round completed, we were asked to repair our cars and meet back for the next round. HOORAH!

Check the post below for round 2, the crowd favorite "Bull game" and a man riding my bike!

Round 2 currently taking place, I'm your host Ronald McFondle. Let's meet the contestants!
0_0.jpg

This man went too deep with that finger:
0_0.jpg

And that man thinks I'm a freak. Back to you, Shannon!
0_0.jpg

Thank you, Ronald! Here you can see all the action that's taking place:

It honestly looks like spinning a cat 50 times around and watching it stumble afterwards:
0_0.jpg

Oh! A man just got ran over! Quick, let's film it instead of helping!
0_0.jpg

I liked the part where Shake told us to stop as he was adding rules in - everyone listened and reminded me a lot of kindergarten. You can stop reading this in an interviewer's voice, by the way.
0_0.jpg

Lastly...THE BULL GAME! We badly need a name for it:
0_0.jpg

Here are the "bitches", ready and pumped:
0_0.jpg

Here are the bulls, lost and confused:
2092jop.jpg

Apparently one of the bulls thought looking back meant driving in reverse:
0_0.jpg

The "bitches" were so confident...
0_0.jpg

That they began drinking themselves drunk:
0_0.jpg

But the bulls came with force:
0_0.jpg

And wiped out a good portion of the line-up:
0_0.jpg

Bulls drove by at intervals, sometimes close to one another, sometimes a bit apart:
0_0.jpg

There's tactics here by using intervals between bulls as it gives the "bitches" less time to place themselves:
0_0.jpg

I got down to the track just in time to see De (in red) getting mugged:
0_0.jpg

HERE THEY COME!
0_0.jpg

MT is so old-fashioned his car doesn't have any parts:
0_0.jpg

What a transformation! Tanned, groomed, sober and new shorts. Meow!
0_0.jpg

I was so distracted by the studs that I almost forgot the bulls:
0_0.jpg

But the bulls didn't forget us!
0_0.jpg

*crowd goes wild*
0_0.jpg

We needed tactics of our own...
0_0.jpg

"Don't worry, I got a plan."
*turns on night vision*
"ARRRRGH, IT BURNS!"
0_0.jpg

Outkast was very lucky:
0_0.jpg

A DEFINITE HIT!
0_0.jpg

But he's still alive!
0_0.jpg

Time to bring in THE BIG BULL!
*not actually used - boo*
0_0.jpg

After some players left, the meet was officially over and we did as we pleased:
0_0.jpg

MT having issues climbing on his ATV:
0_0.jpg

He figured it out:
0_0.jpg

We went to the strip club and I parked a car in front of the door - a good giggle was shared only by me:
0_0.jpg

Chief stole my bike and kept it for a good 30 minutes, at least!
0_0.jpg

I wanted him dead so a special ride was ordered:
0_0.jpg

But Chief had man-baby; the deadly killer!
0_0.jpg

We put some BMX in the back of this...
0_0.jpg

And Chief drove away with them, the goddamn bike thief!
0_0.jpg

"Well, sh*t. There goes my bike."

Feedback- Saturday May 2, Ricer meet.

I gotta say this was my first meet hosted by shake, and I had am amazing time! I was away from meets and the forums for a couple months and I just recently came back. There are so many new faces out there! (Probably regulars by now but new to me) there were only a couple of familiar faces, but I made many new friends! Everyone was amazing and there were no issues! That's what makes a meet, the community that attends. Yes the host plays a big role, but you can't have a meet without an amazing community! I had some issues with joining the first race and apparently I was lagging as well, tick pointed it out when he yelled at me for knocking down all him mom's polls :p

It started out with the typical chill meet and greet and voting, an I surprisingly won something!! After that we did a small cruise then started up a custom race by shake. The first round I didn't participate due to issues, but I made the second. I really enjoyed this little twist to a drag race. With a little more cruising we made our way to a parking garage were had our demo derby, but again it had a twist to the typical demo derby. You had to either knock your opponent off the ramp, or out of bounds which was represented by a barrier of cars. Everyone liked it so much we played four or five rounds! Next was new game to me. Bull Game. Two bulls drove around the track trying to hit the b*tchs, as we were called :p but the catch was the bulls couldn't look forward. They had to look backwards and could only use the mini map to try and hit us. I really enjoyed this game as well! After that we hopped on some atv's and dirt bikes and took to the roads less traveled as the lobby started dwindling down. Sometimes the after meet is one of the best parts! Just everyone hanging out doing all sorts of random sh*t! Im defiantly not getting back in a helicopter with shake and tick, as they abandoned be to crash and burn :p

When I get back into hosting, after the net issues are sorted out, im really gonna have to step up my game! The few meets I've been to since I've been back have been awesome! They make my previous meets look like complete sh*t! I had an amazing time and was a very well planned meet by shake! I loved all the twists to the typical events. Congrats to you Shake and all the amazing guys who attended!

Let's see what the camera got!

Awesome meet shake. Great to hang out with all you guys again :-) I wasn't very talkative as i had a bloody headache and was ahh "not well" (ill spare you the details) earlier in the day but that didn't stop me coming to the meet. I've had the Sentinal, for a long time now, always loved the look of them with a nice Matt paint job. Was stoked to win best at show :-)

The drag race was really really well done, i was the only person to get confused but it doesn't take much to confuse me sometimes so that's Shakes fault. Once i lost track of where i was going i got so disorientated and just couldn't fine the next checkpoint. I did highly enjoy that race. Sorry to my team for letting you down :-) Next time ill get it right!!

My take on the stopping/less memorable bits was i think Shakes effort to counteract the fact he couldn't take photos and wanted plenty. I can totally understand that as they "finish" the meet off perfectly looking back and reflecting. However i do agree with tick, recess breaks would be perfect time for pictures EG Park up, get out cars, meet up by the host (out of the way for people taking pics) then youd be able to see when every ones back too. People not leaving for recess could still muck about and wouldn't have to stay by host but just stay away from the cars for picture purposes.

The demo Derby was great fun, as mentioned we ran it several times as everyone loved it. I dont think anyone could say they didnt have a giggle at that stage :-) I wanted so badly to win but the one wheel on the ramp rule got me :-P So good to have new rules being thrown in randomly, keeps the game fresh. The bull game Bull Rush ?!?? A injury causing, now banned at schools, childhood game i use to love to play as a kid http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/photograph/26271/bullrush-2009

Nice cop shootout and off roading atv'ing at the dam afterwards. Went back to ticks to smoke a bong or three, then to the strip joint. I need to make some stripper friends for next meet :-) Some good times with Chief, De and Tick afterwards to chasing chief on the bike. My hearse was at the ready to collect anybodies laying about. (sorry i didnt make it back for the heist chief fell asleep after a feed lol)

Once again a nice relaxed atmosphere all round and as usual loved ticks witty banter. Another thing i will mention is the guy/girl stancing the car. It really needs to be done away from the group as it can all go wrong and blow up the entire lobby even if your not parked close the cops are lunatic drivers and will, not maybe, hit somebody else and start a huge fuss. Causing cars to get impounded and players having to drive all the way to the impound to get their cars back. Besides as tick said, you do realize that although on your screen it looks good, to the rest of us their are bullet holes all over your car? You can see in some photos

Onwards with photos

@ De: Glad to see you back! It's nice to see old friends/hosts still sticking around. Yeah, we're not that old in GTA hosting but it's good to see the group I started out with still in meets, you know? Hoping to see more of you, De - as player and as host! Thanks for the Big Ronda McDonald name.

My favorite pic from De:

Some quick clicking here! Love the cigarette on the railing!

35iu7pc.jpg

@MT: No worries about getting confused for the drag race game - I asked Shake 3 times to repeat the rules for me. I'm actually confused about most minigames for most meets I join which is ironic seeing I do a night of just minigames. Right, the bull game should be called Bullrush (or BullRush/Bull Rush - pick the best spelling!). A kids game that was sort of banned for being violent? You goddamn better call it Bull Rush! But that would imply that if someone is hit, they become a bull until one bitch is left (kids game and we call it bitches - we really need to find the players standing a better name - maybe like Pedos and Kiddos?). Shake, we need to call it Bull Rush! Thanks for the Ronald McFiddler name...man, you guys having a good laugh naming my creature, aren't you?

My favorite pic from MT:

Can't really pick between the first one which shows an accident about to happen and Outkast being safe or the second one where Outkast just flies just about out of frame.

@Outkast: You should of brought that Kuruma - it looks great! But I know that you matched the colors to your outfit (hoping others noticed, too) so both choices would've been great. Wait, hold up. You're just gonna drop a video just like that?! IT WAS AMAZING! Vanilla Ice to start the meet and then the X to the Zibit pumping up after? You even lip-synced at the end! When the song started and the drag racing was shown I thought it was a Midnight Club trailer! Aaaaaahhhhhh, I love Outkast vids! Serious fan girl. They're just....precise. Timed. Cued perfectly. The music lover in me is always thrilled to see the video and music synced up with different cue points. No idea why you're moaning about it not being the best video you made. I f*cking love it! Short with edits is the way to do vids. Keep them coming. ;)

My favorite pic from Outkast:

I was tempted to pick the Kuruma shots but they weren't part of the meet so I'll go with this one. It's got a great angle and a moment that I didn't see (a missed opportunity on my part). Nice one!

It always brings a smile to my face when people post feedback and pictures of a meet. I remember when I started joining meets that it wasn't really a thing. People would say "good meet" and keep on walking. If a meet was bad, trash talk would ensue and start bad beef. There wasn't really any feedback on how to get better, despite feedback for meets being as old as the Xbox 360 (seriously). I mean, yeah, there was feedback but not as much as there is now so it's so cool to see the car meet community getting serious. You'll see feedback in other threads but I reckon the pics ain't as good! ;)

Hosts always want to get better and attendees always want to see the meet from a different point of view. So I'm smiling as wide as my tranny's ass to see so much good feedback and those pictures are like seeing the love of my life all over again; from my computer screen while not wearing pants. Just stunning shots from you all. If I'm around the forum I'll do these little "favorite shots" thing to encourage players to take some nice shots but if anyone adds any more pictures after this post I'll definitely check them out. I love looking at pics so the more there are, the better it is.

The Tuner Turn-out - May 2ndSaturday @ 9:15PM PDT//10:15PM MDT//

11:15PM CDT//12:15AM EDT (Sun.)//5:15AM BST (Sun.)//

7:15AM (Sun.) EEST//9:45AM IST (Sun.)//4:15PM NZST (Sun.) Feedback:

No more clowning around,

let's see what was found!Pictures:

As traditions go, here's what I was wearing. I will admit I was slightly terrified of what I've become:0_0.jpg

Why do people lower their cars?! Doesn't look great for pictures:0_0.jpg

We chilled here for a bit which was a really good spot to chat:0_0.jpg

Not sure why the blonde chick is shooting in front of cars when her car is the blue BMW at the far end:0_0.jpg

About to start the voting...man, do we look like professional judges!0_0.jpg

The first category was "Best car matching outfit" which went to PoisonedGas. Congrats!0_0.jpg

The classic "Car you'd most likely drive in real life" was won by AssassinBlitz96. Congrats!0_0.jpg

The third category was "Most likely to be seen in the Fast & Furious", which De won. Congrats!0_0.jpg

Finally, "Best of Show" was won by MT. Congrats!0_0.jpg

With our tuners ready, we set off:0_0.jpg

And met up at this club for the first event - Dance Dance Revolution Championship!0_0.jpg

Actually, not pictured due to the event being in Content Creator (race), we had a sweet race really reminiscent of Fast & Furious where there's a race that's set by a GPS and Paul Walker takes a wrong turn and tries to reroute himself (you know which one!):0_0.jpg

We did the event about two times so between lobbies I took the opportunity to snap a pic or two of my ride:0_0.jpg

I thought it looked great!0_0.jpg

The Pokemon Chart where the Futo is Squirtle, the Kuruma is Wartortle and the Khamelion is Blastoise: - it's evolving!0_0.jpg

Everywhere I looked there was a sweet tuner to stare at:0_0.jpg

But some drivers didn't like being watched:0_0.jpg

They made it quite clear:0_0.jpg

The only explosion of the meet - still unexplained as to what happened:0_0.jpg

All of our cars were fine so no harm done...just worried about police attention:0_0.jpg

Luckily we hired security - this very androgynous looking person:0_0.jpg

Some say he used to sing for Guns 'N Roses:0_0.jpg

Outkast had no idea how his phone worked. Here he is looking at his wallpaper wondering why the camera doesn't work:0_0.jpg

The LS Customs giving us many good vantage points:0_0.jpg

The winner of "Douchebag Parking" goes to the owner of this car. Congrats!0_0.jpg

Goddamnit, De!0_0.jpg

There we go!0_0.jpg

The next event was tons of fun:0_0.jpg

Contestants had to push others off the ramp or outside the arena:0_0.jpg

But there was a lot of "hugging" going on:0_0.jpg

Being a photograph is a dangerous job!0_0.jpg

But so is being bait as De shakes his little tush on the catwalk ramp:0_0.jpg

MT going for the bait!0_0.jpg

The BMW almost getting MT but he luckily escaped!0_0.jpg

A quick rule was added in when 3 players were left where a wheel was required to touch the ramp at all times. Here's MT losing as he flips on his side:0_0.jpg

The winner! I believe this is Rice - congrats!0_0.jpg

With the first round completed, we were asked to repair our cars and meet back for the next round. HOORAH!0_0.jpg

Check the post below for round 2, the crowd favorite "Bull game" and a man riding my bike!

Sorry about not talking but whenever my mic was making that noise that was me trying to talk :( Hopefully by next meet I'll have it working!

@MTBB47 that was actually my Kuruma, not De's lol

So here is my synopsis of this meet. We all met at the beach in our cars, and voted and took pics. A shame my mic does not work, it would have helped with communication. After that, we took a quick cruise, and the drivers were obviously horny, as the horns from all the cars were heard loud and clear all the way to the race. After that was a race, which consisted of a little drag/drift circuit, in which we raced in teams of 4-6. The races were great fun, a shame that it was confusing at first and that it was done in the creator (no pics). At the end of the race, A couple of us parked in a roadblock formation and stopped a couple people dead in their tracks. When I was the last one in the roadblock, I surprised ChiefJeffJeff by knocking his car into a barrier, which sent him into a tumble reminiscent of the one Vin Diesel had in Fast & Furious. After which I gave up the race and drove to the local strip club. After all the fun in the race, we all cruised around in the freeroam lobby once again, snapping pics left and right. After this cruise, we went to a parking lot for a good ol' demo derby. I decided against participating, only to run around the parking lot as a Rodeo Clown. During which I was flung into a wall breach I never knew existed. I had to drop out of the meet about halfway through, as it was getting late for me and I needed some good sleep.

Now, for what you all are waiting for, the pictures!

Beginning of the meet, a few of the cars are shown, with a bystander who is obviously intrigued by the Elegy...

0_0.jpg

Another view of the beginning, but with a few more cars here, as well as a bullet-ridden stancer

In my opinion, the best two cars in the whole damn show, The EVOs!

Another shot of the two EVOs

De winning the Fast & Furious appearance comp. Congrats!

0_0.jpg

The group pulling away for the cruise, great shot with all the headlights being on

After the race, I switched to my Intruder for a little variance in the pics

Great meet Shake, will definitely try to make the next one!

Outkast's video reminds me of this:

He should take city shots and high speed camera views to make something like this. :p

Or something like this! Man, Midnight Club has great videos. I feel like playing just by watching these.
