New meet info is up. Over a month away, but will hopefully have sufficient time in my schedule to prepare different minigames and racetracks and other things to make this as closely related to the theme (which you can find on the first page ). This meet will be on a saturday at my usual 11:15 PM CDT time, so there shouldn't be any problems with those of you joining. If there is a problem, we have a ton of time until then so if there are enough who cannot make it, I can always change the date and time. Excited as this is my first movie based theme! Hoping to see my usual buddies along with perhaps some new faces! Going to make this as good as I can. Go ahead and get signed up early! Even if you are unsure about making it at that time, still sign up cause I don't want you to miss out!

Putting together a good quality meet takes time and effort. Anyone can cobble together a meet and drive around for a bit but Shakes, and many other hosts, put the effort in to ensure it's the best it can be.

Daily life can be a factor to set dates. It's better to set a date far away and be sure to have the best meet possible than what happened with his last meet where it was postponed due to family matters. But that means Shake can't postpone his F&F meet after so much waiting. It's a double-edge sword.

 

I won't sign up as it's too far away of a date, despite the time being great for meets I need to get back into a normal sleeping pattern instead of living at night. Send a reminder when nearer to the date and I'll join if I can and if there's some spots left.

In the post below, Shake is referring to what I said, "the prostitute of meets" (being the theme of F&F) from my own thread in my agenda where I give the time of the meet (up to 9 timezones or so), a link to the thread and a little summary/info of the meet. In the summary I call the F&F theme the prostitute of meets as it's been done so many times. Not a bad thing at all and I can't wait to see, as Shake said, what he's going to be doing differently than other F&F meets.

And sorry to all those who are fed up with F&F meets. Saw a couple and never got to attend any, so thought I'd give one a go of my own!

 

I know its as Tick says, "The prostitute of meets" but really love these movies so thought I would try and give it my own spin. Even if you have attended others, I can bet I will bring at least one thing that's new!

 

And also as said, will be mixing up some mini games (not related to the F&F) for the conclusion of the meet for some good fun. Will post regular updates reminding when the meet is as it gets closer.

Not much attention lately. But I will be creating different activities that do require partners. Just one other partner will suffice. It is not mandatory to have a partner to enter, but will make the activities go a bit more smooth from the start if you know who you're with. So if you know someone who's attending, go ahead and talk with them about it! If you do find yourself a partner, go ahead and one of you message me to let me know.

 

I also updated a few more voting categories. Now with the activities I won't tell what they will have in them just due to the fact I want it to be a surprise.

Whenever you leave meets for 2-3 weeks, you start losing it but getting back in the groove is easy. Don't worry yourself if there's any issues at the start - it's understandable and almost expected. Just think of what you think the host should do if you were an attendee and that groove should be right in place.
