Honestly...

Given the in-game bugs, freezing, disconnections, horrible matchmaking, et cetera...

GTA Online has got to be the most broken game in gaming history. Each update breaks this game more and more... I'll just stick to Single Player in V.

Come to think of it, GTA IV Multiplayer was so much better and less frustrating. Some GTA Online players who hate on IV most likely sucked at IV Multiplayer and got REKT! :D

Not having to spend money every damn minute.

No phoning up boring contacts for stupid abilities.

Not having to worry about making money to get this and that.

No Apartments. No Bounties. No Personal Vehicles.

No "Bad Sport" - Be nice! (when that notification popped up on-screen in GTA Online, I laughed my ass off. Are you kidding me?)

No chrome vehicles. No annoying vehicle horns being honked from 12 year olds in their super cars every damn second.

Damn, IV was much more enjoyable. Just give me scattered weapons, health packs, and body armor vests around the map in GTA V and I'd be all set to casually play and have fun.

I don't see why it couldn't be possible? The "Creator" allows you to scatter weapons, health packs, and body armor vests around areas. I'm sure Rockstar could place them all over the map to make a "Classic Free Mode" setting.

Different game OP.

GTA V online is blurring the lines between MMORPG. GTA IV Online was basically a death match.

I've been enjoying GTA Online since it was first launched, yeah, there are bugs and what-not but FOR ME those bugs only affect me 1% of the time. 99% of the time it works flawlessly.

I'm sorry but GTA IV's multiplayer simply cannot compete with V's because I feel like that was no real sense of achievement in that game, sure you can rank up and unlock clothes but that's basically it. GTA Online however, keeps you busy with all sorts of things to do, such as buying cars, apartments, guns, clothes, etc. Ever since I played GTA Online, GTA 4's multiplayer feels like a huge waste of time. But to each and their own I guess.

GTA IV's MP was crap.

All you could actually do was free roam since the lobbies rarely ever filled for other modes. And everyone hung out at the airport. And hackers galore.

there's another OP's thread which reads " is RDR multiplayer better than GTA online ? "

yet this one is not locked yet and currently 2 pages and goosebump thread is actually a bait

even kifflombrobro greatly disliked OP for spamming useless thread

but we can't play minigames on IV ( i.e golf , bowling , darts ) compared to V . if u don't like it , go back to liberty city

How can some of us all enjoy this game?

What the f*ck kind of question is that?

Either some of us enjoy this game, or all of us joy this game.

It's like asking how do you sometimes always do something. The question makes no sense.

He's actually right. V multiplayer should be a mix with IV. Cops n crooks. You cant give me a better game than that in V.

I stopped reading after this. Skills do not reflect on the enjoyment of a game. I'm horrible at Mortal Kombat but I enjoy the fatalities - even those done on me.

If you enjoy GTA IV so much:

http://gtaforums.com/forum/120-gta-iv/

I mean, correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't looked at the GTA IV section in months but we don't go over there and say how superior/inferior GTA V is compared to GTA IV.

Seeing how my comment is really short, I decided to keep reading and found it interesting that you suggested a "Classic Free Roam" lobby for those that want the game more...simple. First, you gotta understand that GTA:O isn't a jump-in-and-play game. You'll get killed a lot by doing that. The MMO aspect, in my opinion, heavily rests on the fact that you can own weapons and vehicles, both customizable to an extend. You can own multiple properties and special vehicles. GTA IV isn't an MMO. You just need to get a weapon or two, some armor and keep an eye on the map. Or you can just get a car and do some jumps at the airport. Bringing me to my next point and crossing yours; GTA needs more options for lobbies. The ability to jump in a game is broken but when it does work it's still broken...but not in the non-working way. It's just lacking to be called a GTA lobby/free roam. The weather, in my case, can rarely be rain/thunder but for the most part it's clear skies. The cops are always on high alert no matter where you are (they've calmed down since I started replaying). The array of options for GTA IV were much better but not as good as Red Dead Redemption. If R* could copy RDR's lobby menu it would solve so many issues. Pick the type of lobby you want:

-Normal

-Hardcore

-Friendly

I'm pretty sure some players still don't know about free aim lobbies or even the ability to change your aiming settings. I'm guessing but it's a pretty fair guess. So prompting players to pick one of the three would help clear up some confusion as some GTA players can get confused. Can you imagine a GTA player who doesn't check this forum for information? Every new update takes them two weeks to figure out what's new. So yeah, GTA V can learn from GTA IV but so can GTA IV learn from GTA V. So to be an asshole about what we enjoy despite its issues is upsetting me. There's nothing really like GTA V. We don't play GTA V because we seem like retards who, unlike you, don't realize GTA IV is "better in every way", we play GTA V because it's giving us what GTA IV never did; ownership. Personalization. What GTA IV and Saints Row 3 would be if they had a baby.

But you'll probably ignore my points because every OP on this forum is a f*cking thick-skull prick that thinks he's right about everything.

"Joined a day ago"

Don't feed the troll guys.

If someone has something worthy to say, no matter if it's directed to the readers, other commentators or the OP himself, that someone should be allowed to say what's on his mind. So yeah, I'm doubtful OP will bother replying with a normal reply (or at all) seeing, as stated, he joined a day ago but hopefully my points will make him think. If not then I'm hoping it's gonna make others think no matter their opinion on the subject.

I'm simply discussing so no idea why you're telling me to chill...? I thought this was a forum, you know, a place to discuss things.

I don't care if it's a troll or even a damn ad that screwed up and somehow made a thread - if I find it interesting I'll reply with my own opinion based on facts, other opinions or personal experience. So I don't see how I'm feeding him. I'm just talking. I understand he can be baiting us but I'm not falling for it just by discussing his own topic.

We're feeding him by discussing that he's a troll and getting mad over how many threads he made. :/
