Can't sell merrywather jeep?

hello, so the other day i went to sell my canis mrsay [merryweather variant] and it wont let me sell it. please help.

You cannot sell that vehicle since the 1.08 update. If you want to get rid of it, just destroy it and replace it with another vehicle.

Not sure since I already have mine from months ago so I didn't purchase it, but I'm gonna assume that you can't sell either the one you find in Free Roam or purchase through the website.

I can't check out if you can sell the version they sell but will verify that later. I destroyed my Merriwether to make room (I need more than 3x 10 car garages. I'm talking to you R*) so I bought another. I'll jump on after work and tell you. I will say the new one is pretty quick. Here is mine in chrome w/ crew colors over the top.
