Is RDR Multiplayer better than GTA Online?

i found RDR multiplayer much more enjoyable and much better performing than GTA Online.

Yes RDR's multipleyer was far superior in so many ways. The only thing gta 5 out does it in is quantity of content (mostly crap) but in terms of balance and gameplay it blows it out the water. It did have similar issues but GTA 5 just amplified the problems instead of avoiding them.

Also things like the character customization and open world activities seem pointless if you blundered them so badly to the point to where people don't care about them.

 

 

RDR was the best sandbox game I played on a console to this day and that means a lot to me because I usually find the old american western theme to be lame and dry. It was the first cowboy game I liked since sunset riders.

I really hope there is a sequel.

GTA online is better but Red dead was still great online. 10 people chasing a bear and beating the sh*t out of it. Standing on that little hut trying to push your friends off so a cougar would kill them. The sounds of the guns and the gunplay in general.

Heck yeah; of course, I never got to play the original (didn't have a console in its glory days), but if it comes out for the PC? Absolutely.

 

Hopefully, R* will implement some kind of intelligent anti-cheat system for RDR and GTA Online sequels (hey; we can dream, right?)

No, You would know about it if they did. The buzz would be as large as fallout 4. we can only hope my good man.

 

If I could have more of Johns story I'd be so happy. That guy is my favorite character out of anything

Officially no sequel has been announced, but they did say that they consider Red Dead a permanent franchise like GTA. They'll make another eventually - it would be stupid not to.
