Playstation Plus card from retail shop.

Hello guys. Today i bought a 3-month ps plus card from a big retail shop in my country went home entered ps4 and coudnt manage to add my sub cause all the time errors "this code is not valid" appeared in my screen. Do i have to activate ps plus card in the shop first? Cause i did not! Thanks in advance!

They normally activate the card for you as soon as you hand it to them before purchasing it.. not sure how that happened though.

 

Also you need to make sure your account and the card are in the same region, UK cards don't work with NA cards and so on.

I took the card from second floor without talking to any of the employes in the game section and just wenr straight to the cash. Maybe thats why. Rofl. Also i am from greece and in front of the card has the greek flag so i am ok i think.....

The card wasn't scratched or anything (revealing the code) when you got it? Cards also seem to expire after a while, which I doubt is the case in this situation.

 

But like I said.. the minute you hand it to the person behind the cash register, they usually scan it which activates it; and then you hand them the money before going on your way.

 

Your best bet would be to tell them your issue but I honestly don't know how it'll work out since most of the time around here, stores don't accept "opened" items when you ask for a new one or to return it.

If that doesn't work then you can contact Sony Support here, they might be able to help somehow...

No the card was perfectly sealed its not the case otherwise i would not buy it. But it seems that the key is in the card activation because i am sure they didnt activate it. Inside the card claims that sony and retal shops accept cards if they are not ok so its not bothering me. I am a trainee lawyer also thanks a lot i will keep in touch with you!
