My question is why do dumb asses still fire at someone who is in passive?

 

I mean the character is ghost'd and so is the car. So why do they still fire?

I had two guys in a Savage shooting rockets at me as i pulled out of my Alta Street garage and i just sat there and let em shoot at me they fired probably 15 rockets and than landed and turned to their guns and fired a volley of 15 seconds and i still didn't blow up i finally got a message saying...

 

Pilot: "Yous a hacker, i got vid i turning you in 2 r*"

I've had an idea, and because its my own idea, I like it, and it's the only change to passive mode I'd be willing to get behind.

 

Some people have mentioned changing the timers of how long it takes to get into, or out of, passive mode.

 

I don't like those ideas in general, but it occurred to me there could be one exception.

 

There's already a 30-second timer to get back into passive mode after you exit passive mode. If, during those 30 seconds, you kill another player, the timer could reset. In other words, killing another player during the 30 seconds after leaving passive mode starts that 30-second timer over from the beginning.

 

I think that this would be a reasonable change to the timers, and it could help to reduce the abuse of people popping in and out of passive.

They're not friends, they're just random people that I was having a good time with.

 

What if I want to find a specific vehicle, and it's known that it spawns more commonly in public sessions?

 

There are many good and reasonable reasons to use passive mode in a public lobby. THAT'S WHY IT'S f*ckING POSSIBLE! If Rockstar wanted people to go hide in an apartment if they were going to be AFK for a couple minutes, or leave a public session, then passive mode woulnt even exist!

Thirdly, I'm usually not in passive mode in free roam, but when I am, I have zero problem with coming out to teach an asshole a lesson. ZERO. Do you have the balls to find out, punk?
