Dick Grayson Posted March 28, 2015 Share Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) Personally I like Sonic Adventure the best. (1 not 2) I really liked the whole Hub world thing with the different places. (Station Square, Mystic Ruins and the Egg Carrier) I had fun with all the characters aside from Big's annoying fishing stages, and each character had their own type of levels. Sonic had the traditional get from Point A to B levels, Tails had the race against other people levels, Amy had hide from Zero and get to the end of the level, Big had fish for froggy, Knuckles had treasure hunting for the Master Emerald Shards, and Gamma had the run 'n gun stages that were fun as hell. The bosses were well done, especially the Egg Viper and Perfect Chaos. Level design was excellent, and the soundtrack was amazing. Chao Gardens are much better in SA2, but they are still very fun here. Story was decent, and had some ups and downs but was a rather fun experience. It was also the last game in the franchise that "Eggman" referred to himself as Dr. Robotnik. Overall I enjoy Sonic Adventure over many other games, including Sonic Adventure 2. N7Operative84 Posted March 28, 2015 Share Posted March 28, 2015 Sonic 3 was amazing, but for me, Sonic 2 edges it out very (very) slightly. Both games have amazing music, good graphics, and great level design.When it is all said and done, I would choose Sonic 2 . Everything that was great about Sonic 1 was 100x better in Sonic 2. It had two players if the first time in the series , it had the chaos emblems that turned you into Super Sonic for the first time, debut of Tails, and the last level was classic in space. After many times , I learned out to beat Robotnik in Sonic 2. If I remember correctly, it was one of those bosses that you beat easy and fast during the first minute or not all due to the lack of power rings. I had to watch a youtube video to remember Sonic 3's final boss. Now I remember how hard that boss was, in a both good and bad way. A quick note: I loved Sonic's Aegis ( was that you called it?) in Sonic 3. Not to mention that lighting shield that acted like a magnet to the power rings. Also, I remember renting Sonic 3 at least 3 different times from Blockbuster, before I beat it for the first time. Sonic 3 was hard as hell, in a good way. Knuckles was cool, but to me no one could beat Sonic's coolness. Knuckle's gliding and climbing was second rate to Sonic's abilities. I would have put Sonic and Knuckles in the equation, but holy smokes, that game was HARD AS HELL. I might have beaten it once. I miss the 90s!!!! :.( I seriously mean it.
