They already released the screenshots on friday so they could have done it then, but they didn't. this means they weren't ready to release the trailer. If Rockstar announced they're dropping support for the consoles on Wednesday, ...but were actually telling the truth, imagine the rage from them it'd be great to see. I really don't know if we should believe them or they're just bluffing. Hope it's true so we can see the glorious gameplay as soon as we can. Something to note, the E3 trailer was posted on June 9th last year, which was a Monday. The "A Picket Fence" trailer was A FRIDAY, NOT WEDNESDAY September 12. Back in 2014, they could of done something like making a fake announcement that heists are released, or cancelled. But Rockstar doesn't do stuff like that. I'm not sure if Minecraft will do anything, because it is owned by Microsoft, but they could do something because Microsoft has done jokes before. Like the virtual reality helmet for Halo 3 that they did way back. Funny thing is, now that concept is a reality with the Occulus, and Valve's VR headset. Personally, I both love and hate April fools day on the Internet. I like to go on the Internet everyday and like to see what is new in terms of technology, science, modding, and gaming. But there is no point as its all jokes. No game developer, company, modder, etc... is going to post something serious, or announce something and have it be legit because people will think it is a hoax. The thing is, April Fool's day on the internet technically lasts almost 2 days due to people being in different time zones. But back on topic. I don't think there will be any more delays. I am about 75% confident that there will be no more delays. If it stays April 14th after the trailer on Tuesday, I'll be at 95%. On April 7th, I'll be at 99%. When I'm preloading the game (because you never know, they may push it back one extra week to better prepare their day 1 patch), I will be at 99.9%. We already know what the game is going to look like considering the PS4/XboxOne probably are going to look close to identical in terms of graphic quality. We know there's no big new feature. It's just a PC version of the same game. It'll be awesome on PC with nice smooth framerate and slightly sharper images. But I don't see this trailer being that long or showing us anything special. There's really no rule to Rockstar posting anything though. They could post any day this week, but I do notice that bigger news typically is announced early in the day compared to BS like fan pictures and that sort of garbage. I tend to agree, I look at the trailer as more of a mile marker in the wait. While I don't fear a delay, a trailer is positive news and obviously marks the homestretch. It's less the content of the trailer and more the symbolism of it. Altho the fact that they released requirements with a delay attached in January felt like a middle finger lol. That said, I do want to see some PC gameplay and while obviously they'll have chosen the best footage to put together a trailer, it will still be cool to see the game being played on a PC.
