These were the words of Phil Robertson, one of the leads on the reality television series "Duck Dynasty", at a prayer breakfast in Florida on Tuesday. People actually gave him a standing ovation and shook his hand after the conclusion of this disgusting tripe.

 

Who the f*ck keeps putting a microphone in front of this son of a bitch? He needs to get sacked ASAP.

No, but seriously, how does this hick still have a job? If I was still a believer myself, I certainly would not have been okay with this and I'm disappointed to see a lack of contempt coming from those who consider themselves fans of his program.

It's scary to think that people like this have voting power for our elected representatives. Not only that, but if they have kids they've likely instilled this nonsense into their personality.

wow im a christian and think thats wrong. i understand what he was trying to say but the way he said it seems cruel. people like him give us christians bad names. i sure hope bob dutko dosent fall for this and agrees with it or else all hope is lost.

Seems like he was trying to say, in short, that without god, who/what dictates what's right and what is wrong?

 

Now, I don't agree with him, but I don't see why we need to give this any real publicity. Oh no, a crazy old man said something crazy and has the right to vote. You're not going to change his mind, or anyone's really, by saying the obvious: it was a weird and possibly horrible comment. You also can't strip the right to vote away from people you deem nutty if you want to keep the moral high ground.
