  1. 1. Should the Snapmatic filters be avialable for any gametype/lobby?

    • Yes
      7
    • No
      3
    • Only in certain gametypes
      1
  2. 2. Could this enhance your gameplay or change the way you play?

    • Yes. Me and/or roleplayers could make a good use for it
      2
    • Nah. That wouldn't change the fact I'm going to blow your car if I see you
      1
    • I wouldn't use that Instagram crap in the first place... I don't actually care
      5
    • That could open the doors to new interesting custom modes (like restricted filter LTS)

First of all, this is not a wishlist thread... as much as I'd like to have this option, I rather to read the opinions of forum members.

Some thing that bugs me is Rockstar and their kind of actually real no fun policy. We know that everytime something harmless and fun is out there is just a matter of days or luckily weeks until it gets patched. They insist in adding new stuff instead of giving a better use to features that are already there.

No, I'm not talking about the CoD trickshot montage filters that come out in deathmatches or Bullsh*tshark Testosterone, I', refering to the Snapmatic filters. We know them, we have taken some cool shots using them, but... have you ever seen them in gameplay footage? Like when spectating a player after dying in a mission.

Once I got a message from one of those crappy Italian Mafia crews, the guy was in my session and me in my apartment. I didn't wanted to go to Paleto Bay just to kill him, so I sent mercenaries and watched him on the TV. He was in a Roosevelt with a suit from the Valentine's DLC crusing with two friends of him. As I saw the mercenaries going after them (and failing) I switched to the black and white filter, then to the vintage one. It was weird, but the way I saw the game since their point of view changed a lot just for a simple filter. It really had a 1930's feeling while they were in the Roosevelt crusing.

The same happens when expectating a player in a mission, the filters changes the perspective of the game and it's already there... the game doesn't crash and don't think it would be too hard to implement it for personal use. The way I see it, cruising on Vinewood during night with the "blue-ish" filter could add that "night life" vibe. Or doing a drag race on the drain with the vintage filter... and so on...

There's a little poll for that so it would be easier. Cheers!

Seems like it would be easy enough to add in the interaction menu (sort of like night vision) if it was added I'd definitely mess around with it, but 95% of the time I'd stick to normal

Doesn't seem like a hard feature to be added, since it is there already for the spectator mode.

I personally wouldn't use it, could just mess around with it every now and then, but would play my game with default settings.

How about drunk mode and high mode?

Drunk mode is already in story mode...

You can do these already

To get drunk just go to your inventory and start drinking a lot of beer, which you can buy from any gas station.

And to get high just hit the bong on your apartment.

Right, but as a filter it would only end when you choose to end it.
