Recently played a game where 3 of us managed to get to the dinghy with 1.1 million, and the remaining person– some 12 year old who had his minimap turned off(!!)– was floundering around on the other side of the mountain before he was brought down by the police. In a situation like that, the 3 people who made it to the dinghy should get away with the money & divide the dead player's take amongst themselves. It's not like the heists in story mode suddenly ended as soon as some of the cannon fodder die. Plus, it'll make that final stretch that much more dramatic (& that much more fair for everybody else who actually knows what they're doing).

Yes, no?

EDIT: Why the f*ck are my topic titles always getting truncated?

Yes, but the same kids would be complaining and Rockstar tend to listen to them more than their mature fanbase.

No I don't think that's true. You're editorializing.

Dont play with randoms.

Whether or not he was random is beside the point, & he performed adequately for 3 other set up missions.

Prologue heist member dies

First heist sh*tty guy dies

Why not online?

Prologue heist member dies

First heist sh*tty guy dies

Why not online?

Some other sh*tty guy dies in the FIB heist, another sh*tty guy dies in The Big One (& destroys half the take at the same time).

The last heist would be so much more interesting if it was possible for one of the money holders to die & leave everyone with 600k.

plz r* ur my only hope

cos then you would try to kill team members so you would get more of a cut

that's why

then throw in an incentive to get all 4 people out safely. extra 50 grand for each heist member, bonus rp or something, a t shirt w/ a special, random decal (easy content to produce a lot of).

If you're the one who kills them then they should respawn like normal, or mission failed.

or if you run someone over, directly damage/knock down a teammate before they're killed by the enemies, then your 50% of your cut is forfeited to either your teammates or the "family" of the dead person (aka the dead person themself).

It does seem that Rockstar pays more attention to the kids. We can't even swear in goddamn text messages, or even put "grape".

That's not there to protect the kids, that's there to protect the adults from the kids. Anyone who's gonna threaten to rape someone on the internet isn't an adult.

so glad no one here works for r*

Why? Are these bad ideas?

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. –me

Good point lol...then again, with zero friendly Fire, it would make things a bit more interesting and realistic.

just flatten them, job done

Maybe you shouldn't play on hard if you want more lives. And your idea just screams troll bait.

Are you intentionally mischaracterizing my point or are you just not a very critical reader?

Getting hit by a police causes a 1 second "victim" player state, reverts to "neutral" player states after the 1 second. Problem solved, you're welcome America.

Of course, every heist would end with a backstabbing bloodbath. Just look at what happens after the heist crew spawns back to FR - and that's just for sh*ts & giggles; if there was a potential $750K payoff then it would become the actual end-goal of every heist member.

ITT: Stop heisting with randoms and these problems will go away.

Then players wouldn't give their partners cover, they would leave them to die, and take their money.

We already have too many dickheads in online, this idea will increase that even more.

A Few Salient Points:

- Brad dies in Heists Prologue. Yet Michael still managed to cut a deal with the Feds and Trevor escaped; they didn't just stop and everything ended.

- Driver can be killed during Jewelry Store Heist. You just go back and Collect the dropped cut and continue on.

- In Contact Missions, you still get Paid/Mission Completes provided one player is left to complete Objectives. Other Players can even leave and you still complete the mission!

In Heists apparently everyone needs to be alive at all times, dropped Cash is lost instead of having an ability to pick it up (but risk getting shot more in the process) and everyone needs to complete assigned Objectives when for the most part, R* have just manufactured unnecessary roles as part of their target of 4 Players.

I say yes, but ONLY for Pacific Bank. It's so annoying when that one little ass who can't parachute at all dies at the very end. f*ck him and his cut, the rest of us were in the damn boat.

Then just head directly for the boat. You don't have to go up there and parachute.
