God_of_Fun
I feel like it has a lot of potential, hover cars, lazer guns, gene therapy (esthetic and functional, things like lizard skin or gorilla strength), bionic implants, self driving cars so you dont have to pay a cab, the list goes on. Like any game it has the potential to be crazy unbalanced, but I think it could be a lot of fun and lead to some stunning futuristic city scapes and some interesting/humerous interpretations of what kinds of crimes will be perpetrated in the future. What do you think? Take the next GTA into the future, or make YET ANOTHER modern day shoot um up drug running game? edit: I Know this would be a long ways off, but I still wanna talk about it. GTA-Biker
I´m already getting tired of GTA games set in present, let alone the future.I would like to go back to past, the 80s,90s,early 2000s or even the 70s(as much as I know there was never a GTA game set in the 70s so far).Anything before 1970s seems more like the Mafia series turf and anything in the distant future wouldn´t feel like a classic, traditional GTA anymore, more like Saints Row. housedeep
self driving cars One of the main reasons why I play GTA is to do what I wish with a car, so what fun would I have watching the car driving itself? There would be no police chase, or at least I wouldn't have the fun running from the cops, since the car drives itself. hover cars That would restrict the cars' customization. Also I wouldn't be able to drift. The Dedito Gae
Nah nah nah Gta 6
They have done it with GTA2, the game came out in 1999 but was set in 2013, I don't mind a GTA being set in the future, it could be an opportunity for R* to be more creative like they did with GTA2. Though I don't want it to be f*cking aliens everywhere and flying cars. Goldn-Bayse
Pavle
Well, one day, it will be set in the future. But, for us that future will be the present and I have no idea what I just said. But, R* should go back to the past. All this modern day stuff isn't working out, IMO.
Luna 51
Maybe for like in 2020 no more than 10 years, then I can accept another GTA to take place in the future. But I really doubt R* will do that.
American Viking
The game you are looking for is called Saints Row. COD might fit the bill as well. Luna 51
universetwisters
They should do a game set in 2525.
