Character appearance change glitch

Seriously wtf? I have a female character and every mission the appearance changes randomly, the only way to avoid this is to find a new session, but if I start any other mission it just changes again... When everyone was having this issue, I was fine but after latest update... Anyone else experiencing this?

I survived the first few patches with my guy being unaffected, but now it seems yesterday's patch has turned my guy albino

It's happened to me for two days now, every couple missions my face will change. From random womens facial features to a strange Korean man... It's a conspiracy. Our GTAOnline characters are actually shape shifting Alien hybrids and it will one day amount to be an X-File.

I had this problem as well. Mine seemed to be fixed by quitting to story mode and entering GTA Online through the "choose character" option.

I haven't yet encountered this problem, but then again I've always kept resetting my face using the level 6 glitch from time to time, even if nothing looked out of the ordinary

My guy has gone from white to black.

 

I think it'll be an interesting change. I look forward to seeing what my guy will look like next.

That's why it's nice to have a lvl 6 secondary character, you can change your appearance anytime you please. Also got screen grabs of all my appearance settings in case a glitch caused the sh*t to really hit the fan.

 

If you haven't already invested time building a second character, I would highly recommend doing the glitch.

Neither of my chars have been affected, yet.

 

Was playing a few heists earlier and some randoms char was a feminine black woman in-game but in every cutscene she was white and masculine with a chin you could slice cheese on.

Yup, survived both patches but this. My friend became a Kurd, and i became my friends asian character after he joined my heist!

 

Over a YEAR after GTA V's release, and still all this.. R* is a joke at this point!

Thats why i leave this game allone for a while. Im sick and tired of all the bs . So much good games out i can enjoy. One bug to much. Will come back if they finally fix all of this bullsh*t

I haven't loaded up my female character yet with the heist update. Too many horror stories and I don't want to submit a ticket to redo the character. I'll just wait till its patched

I wish my 2nd character was level 6, heck, let us have a third!

Lol. Same here, it's been happening ever since the latest update for PS4, during a heist setup I just turned into a clone of a random player who joined my lobby. Even the guy was like: "what the heck ? you look just like me"

It was working fine yesterday. Update the game tonight and now my character's face changes everytime he goes to get a haircut or change ANY clothing. It's f*cking irritating

It doesn't seem to be permanent, but it will keep messing up your character in different ways.

 

I sometimes forget what my character looked like before all this crap started...

If it happens, exit the game and reload it. Once story mode is loaded up instead of going straight into online select choose character. Once that is loaded up choose your affected character, and you should be good. Though you'll have to repeat that process many times, usually after about 8 or 10 jobs is when I get mutated. Also Rockstar's so called L1+R1 method, which resets your settings to default, does absolutely sh*t in regards to fixing the issue or preventing further occurrences.

yup..bullsh*t..i just scrolled thru gear at gun store and it changed..got it after a heist..during heist..after mission..changing saved outfits..equipping mask..all Rockstar does is unlock an alter!!!! sh*t needs fixing ASAP

My character sometimes glitches in facial aspects during cutscenes an stuff but overall it resets itself after loading so its not a big deal its not like your characters appearance affects anything. maybe when they make it so that the game prostitutes care about who they blow but..eh if they make them that realistic they'll just double the cost. so... yeah no big deal. >.> its not a dating sim your appearance matters nadda.
