Final Frontier Mission

Hey people, so iv had a few things happen which has kind of ruined the game for me some-what. The first was a new update where the phone would tilt and freeze making it unable to read emails or put the phone away.

 

So I had to uninstall the game completely and reinstall it and start all over.

 

It sucked big time because I was basically at 100% completion I just had the final frontier mission to do. (I think)

 

Now another thing has happened.

 

I'm basically at 100% completion again.

 

I collected all 50 space ship parts and made sure I waited til I was almost done the game to do this. I went to meet with Omega and he gave me the Space Docker, and i was awarded Beyond The Stars.

 

As I was driving in the space docker to the next location, before I got there a random event popped up. A dude running from the LSPD. I figured I'd take him to his destination...

 

On the way there as the cops were chasing me I got stuck and died. And now I can't find the space docker.

 

It took me 3-4 hours to get all the space ship parts.

 

I saved the game after collecting the space ship parts.

 

The only other save I have would be from yesterday.

 

So I'm kind of getting pissed at how gta 5 is turning out.

 

I don't always like having to go all the way back to a safe house and save after each thing I accomplish. But I might have to start doing that, because I think I just wasted 8 hours, meaning every single thing iv done in GTA 5 today, has been a complete waste of time and for no reason at all.

 

Is there a way I can the space docker back?

 

I can't find it anywhere. As I said, I was killed by LSPD. The space docker was in perfect condition so it wasn't destroyed. I checked the spot I died at and it wasn't there, and I checked the impound but it wasn't there either. I had a bike and a car in there. So I took them out and blew them up.

 

Its been about a good hour and a half and iv died several times and turned my Xbox (360) off and on and tried to reload the last save from after I completed the collection portion, and it still hasn't appeared in the impound.

 

I removed the car and bike from the impound like two minutes after I died because I knew I'd be walking out of the hospital without the space docker.

 

Any tips, help or advice on what to do? Or how I can get it back?

 

Because I can't do the Final Frontier mission without it...

 

The "Far Out" mission is when he asks me to gather the parts. So the award Beyond The Stars is given after that's completed?

 

Now I'm confused.

The Space Docker, once unlocked, will appear in the Special Vehicle list in your garage.

 

Final Frontier is just you getting the Space Docker. Mission Complete.

Oh sweet! Mission complete! That's good to know. I tried to check my special vehicles in my garage but that isn't working anymore. Before the phone glitch, I had all special vehicles, but because I had to uninstall the game and reinstall it, I no longer have the option to right d-pad to select special vehicles. I noticed I wasn't connected to Xbox live. I tried to connect to Xbox live but now it's asking me to install the latest update again. If I do that the phone will glitch out and I won't be able to get 100%.

Exactly. If you're playing on PS3 or Xbox 360, the Space Docker is ALWAYS in the 4 Car Garage D-Pad List of items. This happened in one of the earlier Patches. I'd assume they put it there like that cuz you, and tons of people have lost it doing the things you do, etc...

Also, I noticed you talking about driving all the way back to your Safehouse to save.

 

Use the quicksave option on your phone, saves a whole lot more time and you are put right where you were saved. Same car and everything.

The latest update, released yesterday, apparently fixes the cell phone glitch.

Oh thanks! I had no idea about the quicksave option. And I had no idea there was a new update that fixes the phone glitch. Yeah, in hindsight I really shouldn't have done that random event. It just seemed quick and easy. Killed the cop. Got $250 bucks, killed the guy I helped right after. Someone must have called the cops cause I got a two star wanted level, then I got the space docker stuck between some rocks and died. Bye bye space docker. I only want the docker back because I heard you can signal ufos with it at fort zancudo?

You need 100% to see the UFOs in the sky. You don't need the Space Docker to encounter them though.

 

The Space Docker has the unique property of having reduced gravity when you drive it. Not quite as strong as the Moon Gravity cheat though. That and the weird horn and green headlights seem to be it's only special effects.

 

It is theorized that it might be a part of "the big mystery" surrounding the Mural on Chiliad, but as far as I know no one has figured out what to do with it yet.
