Heists invites - can't tell if finale?

When heists invites come in, they sometimes say name of heist, mission, then "set up", so you know it's one of the set up missions.

But how do you know if it is a finale? Because for Humane Raids, I once got an invite that just said "Humane Labs Raid - NEW"...I thought this was a finale so I accepted, only to be brought to the 'introductory story' screen and then have the host pick which of the set ups he wanted to do.

Then there are invites that say "Humane Labs Raid" and have a description, like "go in two teams, ground team takes...blah blah blah" and I thought THAT was the finale, but when I accepted it, it was the same thing - introduction to the whole thing then host picks which set up.

So how do I know if it is a finale or introduction??

The actual heist is marked as just an H, while the set up missions have a little "S" on the H.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

Good do the set ups, people are lazy bums and want to do finale.

The thing that happens is that you do the set up missions but they don't actually invite you to the finale, thats what pisses me off.

I stopped doing it with random elitist crews(because they think there better then randoms), I've noticed random singles are x100 better then these type of people. You might even see some of them here.

If nobody helps out with the setup missions, there won't be any finales for you to leech money from.

I think you're mistaken. I'be done all the set ups and need to do the finale but keep getting invites for set ups.

sometimes i agree with the OP, when i am playing as a random i would like to know what part i am joining......i dont pick the finales only, but some of the descriptions in the invite that is on the phone dosent really tell you anything (ps3)

hell on the Ps3 if i get more than 1 invite at the same time ...when i pull up my phone every invite looks like it comes from the same person, I have to select them one by one to see who sent what......

That also happens on the 360 as well.

Also im finding it ridiculously hard to complete the trash truck setup for the series1 heist. Not because its hard but because people just leave because they want to keep the uniform due to that glitch.

I imagine some people doing the prison heist are finding the same with the station mission.

I just join whatever I'm invited to. Unless I've done that setup several times already that day.

I wish people would actually invite you to the Finales though if you helped them. I helped somebody all the way through Humane Lab Raid but when we got to the end did he invite me? Nope.

f*ck the finales...

*pull out phone*

*tab quick jobs*

*play heist on call*

at the end of the day, when dealing with randoms, one can make more money out of setup missions than playing the finales. not only is the leader likely to stick you with a 5% cut but the chances of finishing with randoms is really low.

so if you do heist for the money, stick up to the setup missions, they are easy and would yield some nice cash in a short amount of time.

This is really annoying because i just want to play the pacific heist and every time one pops up saying its the heist its the stupid setups. I did work through most of the setups with one crew who i thought was decent only for one of them to blow my car up when we got to free mode.

I agree with this - was just playing and when I went to Humane Labs finale with a random host the screen even had the picture of HL showing it was the finale then I end up in the apartment for set ups and waste 5 minutes listening to drivel I have heard 100 times before. I just quit as soon as I can.

I know I want the All in Order, my next set-up is Insurgents, the last glitches for us, vehicles wouldn't move.

If I don't get an invite after last setup then I need the final, I will happily take 5% or less just to do it.

The way for me to know is message 'Order will be reset'.

Once you have done them set ups are boring as hell - spend ages with randoms doing a longish job for the same as 5 mins doing say Rooftop Rumble. Unless I am playing with friends who need help I only play finales now and luckily usually get my 20%+

I believe if you do 50 setups as a crew member you can unlock free chrome rims for a certain class, I forget which one. I like doing setups, the finale is a bonus.

Yea everyone wants the finales, I've been casually trying for 2 nights to finish the Pacific Heist and am only on setup 3. When I accepted the invite from Lester on my phone to continue the Heist the description read like it was the heist part on the setup/invite screen, sent out invites and it filled up quick. Cue the cutscene, now I have to do the 3 setups(which I knew I had to do them, but thought maybe it glitched me to finale) Somebody left as soon as they could. Nobody seems interested in doing setups anymore or even waiting more than 20 seconds for a lobby to fill up.

I'm a finale jumper idgaf

Most people put the setups on easy to get through them faster which only pays about 6-7k.

Also the last two heist setups I joined, the leaders paid out 10% cuts even though I never died once and they died multiple times. So I'm spending almost an hour helping them and taking low pay for the setups only for them to say FU on the finale.

Also helped a random do the fleeca job and put up with him failing many times only to be shot in the face and not invited to the finale at all.

I only do setups with friends and crew now days so all the randoms only have themselves to thank.

I bet you're one of those morons who keeps yelling 25 per cent at the host, and then doesn't ready up until he changes it.

I went through two or three Series A setups with a group of randoms last week. On the finale one of the team needed to be replaced, and the first player who joined was a low level squeeker who wanted more than 20% of the cut, even after finale hopping.

The only time I've had a problem with this is when me and a friend were doing the all in order challenge. The game glitched and we lost all heist progress for the pac standard heist just before the finale which meant we had to finale hop to complete the challenge. It was annoying that 90% of invites I accepted were for a cut scene and not the finale

I know I'm late. So late but I read your post before just didn't have an account then. The sure fire way to tell if a heist is a setup or a finale is if the leader has the option, or if you see any options for the clothes, leader full choice, crew full choice. If it's a setup it doesn't have those options. Hope you read this, hope I helped.
