Dr.WoolyNipples
Now that GTA V for PC is coming out soon, are any of you planning to buy it for the third time? I might consider it for the Mods, but it's unlikely. Can you guys see any other benefits to doing so?

There are more than that, trainers, increased graphics and details (probably upgraded traffic and crowd on the streets, fixed lots of bugs, that are on console versions etc...more vegetations, higher resolutions, more AA support and stuff like that!), also lets not forget much more comfortable control scheme - mouse + keyboard combo, which is suited best for games like GTA! Much better than clunky broken analog stick gamepad controls!...It still doesn't warrant much buying it for the third time maybe, but it can't bother me at slightest since i'm getting it first time! Also PC will get its own exclusive radio station as well as MP3 custom radio station! On top of all that, PC version will come with ALL the downloadable DLC content packed in a single package! You won't need to worry about getting and buying each single Pack and DLC/pre-order piece! It will come now in a single complete package also much cheaper btw!... I'm feeling that's not enough for people that already played the game. Sure, improved graphics are cool, just not cool enough to justify spending money again on a game that has been played for a year and a half, is not like CG consoles have bad graphics

Not to mention we're getting exclusive content in a form of exclusive to PC radio station in addition to MP3 custom radio station! And don't even get me started onto mods, mouse + keyboard, trainers with lots of cheat functions, that can't be accessed otherwise, better visuals etc...LOL I remember how excited i was first time i downloaded an Ultimate GTA trainer for GTA3, it had only like 40 or something functions at first and grew over 100 through the updates! LOL San Andreas has only like 250 cheats or maybe even more!! There is everything for everyone! What is not to love! "Disable Wanted System and play without cops bothering you" - that is dream came true!! ))) No more stupid 1-2 stars for shooting in a pair of bushes! I used to feel the same about the mouse and keyboard, when i used to play on PC, but since i switched to PS (2, 3 & 4), i really changed my mind, and i not saying it's better (neither they're worse), it just feel much more comfortable the gamepad that the mouse and keyboard. Trainers and mods, not really my thing, that's why i didn't mentioned them, and they still need to be developed, so that's going to take a while. DLCs & fixes come to consoles too (CG at least), so, not really a difference. Not really into more vegetation, crowds and stuff, i think 60 FPS is the killer punch. Not looking for an argument about which platform is better, really, i don't care, everyone should do whatever they feel like doing, period. Now, getting back on topic, i'd be pissed if they were only giving ingame cash, PC has waited for the game quite a long time. Seenyour31

I don't agree, there isn't many games that keep you busy for over a year and a half, i've been playing this game since day one, and i still don't want to play another thing. Plus the CG Online is waaaay better than LG. If you play CG, you wouldn't believe that you were able to play on LG. Definitely not worth $240 but it has taken up most of my time since release, bought GTA IV 3 times so this isn't really anything new to me either. I've been happier as of late because I've finally managed to play with old friends of mine on GTA V for the first time since I left them in the PC version of IV many years ago. Of course, not saying I made a great decision either buying it more than once/twice When I pre-ordered the game on Steam on January 25th... it was my 4th time buying this game Oh well. 4th? PS3, 360 , PS4 , PC in that order Lethal Vaccine

joyrider00
Why would I buy a game that I completed over one and a half years ago? Maybe when PC version is on sale for $5 or so but that will take a year from the release day at least. By that time next GTA isnt far away... Not just GTA. Any Online Gaming doesn't sit well for me and I don't want to take part in it. Well, if you like GTA V that much, then good for you. For me, the way you like V, is the way I like the 3D Era. I'm still playing III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS today and don't want to put them down. THOSE are the classics. GTA V is just meh for me. It's a beautiful game and all, but that's all it has, basically. The whole Single Player experience just isn't "there" in V. Luddite

Of course the older GTA games feel like classics, because they're much older than GTA V. You should wait for GTA V to be 10 years old, and then decide if you still don't like it as much as the older GTAs.

killahmatic
No game is worth buying three times, and GTA is the best of the best, but still not worth three purchases. I can understand buying it a second time if the person bought it when it was first released and didn't know whether it would ever be out on PC or not. For me, once is enough, and even when I did, I waited for it to be on sale December 2013 for $
