There are so many inconsistencies though. Take a look at some of the missions.

Lester has one where you attack the police to distract them long enough for another crew to do what they need to. He has another one where you steal stolen diamonds that are being sent off to Liberty City. There is another where you steal explosives from a stickup crew down in the subway tunnels. These all coincide with story mode.

So I understand the Rockstar said it happens before, but there is a lot of things in the game that says it happens during.

knowing this fact is the thing that can make online feel weird, because time pass and one just dont feel like we are getting any close to the event in V.
