Eatingapples
I am new in this forum and this is my first post. So, i think of getting Gta IV for PC. I want to know can i run it decent on my laptop and with what average framerate. Also, on which graphic setting is best to play with my configuration without making the game ugly. I've heard that there are some performance issues. Do i need to download any patches or other stuff? My laptop configurations are: Video card - GeForce GT 520MX CPU - Intel® Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz CPU Speed - 2.2 GHz Performance Rated at: 6.05 GHz RAM - 8.1 GB OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit Sorry for my bad English, i am not native. Red Hat
I'm assuming low-med settings and 20FPS at the most, due to your GPU. I don't think the full potential of that CPU can be unleashed because of your GPU. And yes, the best patch for performance would be Patch 1.0.4.0. If you want to play online then you will have to download the latest patch, i.e. 1.0.7.0, but it will decrease your game's performance.

Red Hat
Well, GTA IV is one of the most poorly optimized game for PC. That's all I can say.
