If you get closer, it disappears almost completely, then appears again if you move further away. yeah ive found a GTA V video footage of what ur describing of an airplane trying to fly "through" the clouds but as soon as he gets close to the cloud it disappears then reappears, a bit disappointing since I had the impression it was volumetric all this time like those of Just Cause 2... And maybe one of those vests that shock you when you get shot. was gonna say this, VR can make you feel like you're inside a virtual environment so it will kinda make you feel like you are living there... and with the ability to mod the PC version comes the obvious possibility of adding support for the Rift..its gonna be real cool when that happens but it'll require a really beast of a PC to run it properly FPS wise tho. You're just flat out incorrect. It looks noticeable better than the PS4 version. Those screenshots look so rigged. I highly doubt the vanilla game will actually look like that. But no delay is nice You know PC is not a limited childrens toy like Potatostation 4 is to be downgraded right? These screens are made on the "developers' hardware", which means to get this quality you will need their ultra-galactic-level-mega-expensive hardware configuration if you want to achieve that, which means that it is only accessible by the "chosen ones" individuals and not mere mortals...Besides you didn't really play Watch Dogs did you? The screens on PC pre-release looked astonishing, but once game got released it was blurry jagged peace of hell!... From the specs, you could run GTA V on ultra, at 4k, 60 FPS with two 980s easily. That's not an "ultra-galactic-level-mega-expensive hardware configuration"... The 980 is anywhere from $550 and up, and you would need two of them. Thats not exactly chump change. It is for PCs , a double Titan would double that price. Then again lets be honest, a very small percentage of PC gamers will be using 4k anyway, so i dont get the hype about it, the price of 4k monitors is just stupid (unless you want 30hz refresh rate). And that is of course assuming the game is optimized for SLI. Im just going to go with 1080p 60fps if you dont mind, and when i upgrade my PC ill just use downsampling, its prettier than native 4k. Pre-ordered. (Originally from r/pcmasterrace) They could also be models and textures used only in cinematics. I want to believe they're used all the time though.
