I'm pretty sure there's been at least a thread or two about this. Anyway, I'm still waiting for the Valentine's Day Massacre DLC to return.

Maybe they will actually get their own servers and stop piggy backing on players to be hosts.

It'd be wishful thinking to have a NEW heist in the next update. I'll be happy with some new cars. Preferably SUPERS. It'd be cooler to have them unlockable via heist though.

It's been a speculation light couple of weeks, and I'm not gonna say I'm sorry to see a lack of those threads.

 

I suspect, with no grounding in actual knowledge, that you'll see something tossed together to take advantage of people's newfound cashflush status.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4th garage, and a bevy of new expensive cars including sports and supers. Probably light on the military grade gear as they dumped that out pretty heavily in the hists DLC.

 

Matter of fact, I speculate that the biggest bitch and moan of the next update will be a lack of heavy metal from the guys who treat GTA like it's Battlefield.

heist update is a huge money hog.

 

yes one can make some money from heist, but it would take a couple runs through heist to be able to affort some of the vehicles.

 

the casino would make me go broke fo sure!

After nearly two years of crying, wailing and gnashing of teeth, heists are finally here. They've only been out a couple of weeks and we're already on about "the next big thing". Gotta love GTAF. That said...

I doubt it'd come to last-gen, seeing it as how they've nearly reached the limit. I don't see Story Mode getting DLC.

You won't get animals online in LG due to console limitations. You probably won't get them in NG because people, particularly this playerbase, are awful and will do awful things to animals thus drawing unwanted media attention.

 

"But GTA thrives on negative publicity!" They do.

"Hookers and drugs and cop killing!" Yep.

"So what's it matter?" Carefully designed outrage points helps TT/R* get press. However, there's going to be things they'll steer away from. There's never been an elementry/secondary school in GTA, and there never will be. No kids. No babies. None of that. Ever think of why?

"No, why?" Because killing those is seen as reprehensible. Same story with animals.

"Horses then!" Only if RDR 3 is on the books, and soon, because horses in GTA will remind you of RDR and thus you'll get that tie in. But, doubtful, and doubly so because RDR isn't generating press right now.

 

 

Mansions? Maybe. Were the houses as big of a draw as people here wanted them to be? However, you can be damned sure any mansion is going to come with a 10 car garage max, coding limitations, and thus I don't expect they'll be very exciting.

 

They will, however, at least be an object of large cost, all the mroe reason to pound away at Hists and generate traffic and/or cash cards.

 

No, it's not the cash card conspiracy, but its a fundamental truth. Whatever makes GTAO's "economy" churn is what's going to happen. Especially now that people with formerly large bankrolls have bought up everything they could or wanted.

 

Remember "The High Life?" Ever think about how it would've dovetailed nicely after a package of missions that generate more cash? LIke, if Hists had been released in an appropriately early time frame.

 

Personally, though, I want "The Grind Life." A bevvy of new contact jobs, some big ticket luxury items, and other things designed to drain bank accounts.

SP is the next big thing. And SP features will probably be transferred to Online, but not vice versa.

Mmmm yes. Add more Super cars despite the fact that there's MORE than ENOUGH of them. Why not add more 'chopper' bikes? Novelty cars?

Same goes for clothing. NO MORE SUITS OR MILITARY STUFF. THERE IS ENOUGH. Add some other things!

Who said LG not getting SP?They already confirmed they were making SP Dlc on all platforms.

SP Dlc might compete with Heists since there were only 5 fully Heists and tons of clothing.

Well they have fixed the mask and dress issues now so valentines could be switched on at anytime but I bet it wont be. I don't think anything big will happen for a few months. They need to hire about 500 network code masters to try and fix the servers and make the pc version work properly (it wont) so I don't think they will be able to afford the time to actually make anything new for a while.


SP is the next big thing. And SP features will probably be transferred to Online, but not vice versa.

 

There's no money in sp, only about 20% of people even play sp more than the requirements to get online so they wouldn't be very smart to add a large effort into anything new single player wise.

Everyone gets high and believe it's an alien invasion, or actually aliens exist in GTA. Either way, surviving Los Santos during an alien invasion.
