Can't do driveby's

I have a problem on PS4 online, free aim sessions that started today, I can't shoot at players from any vehicle. I can press square to scroll through weapons but when I press L1 to aim nothing happens. I've tried switching sessions and turning off the PS4 but this hasn't helped. Also yes, passive mode is OFF.

 

Anyone had this?

Didn't they change drive by aim settings? Not sure if they changed for free aim but look at your control settings.

Yes I am aware that my mode is on Aim+Fire, I can do neither. Thanks anyway.
