All of this.Old Gen IMO actually still have some juice left in it.After the Heists update,I noticed that R* gave a nice small upgrade in graphics while adding some foilage.Maybe that can add more for all we know.LG is starting to turn around for R* , and all the miniscule CG stuff that is being added to LG makes it all the better.I wouldnt be suprised if we eventually get CG minimap,or some new interiors.I dont feel the jurisdication to pay around 460$ just to get a game with a coat of new paint and few extra features I might use within 2 weeks time and I dont think anyone else should either.

 

Not going to happen. They've nearly reached the limit on last-gen and even if they could it would give no incentive to buy upgrade.

Man! Did no one get any sleep last night. I get on this morning and this place has turned into crankytown.

 

I agree that SOME things that were on current gen could have been implemented on last gen. But in all honesty, it makes no sense to me that a PC master racer would care at all about the differences between console versions.

 

On another note, for me at least, the current gen version of this game far out performs last gen. No random freezes in gameplay while the game loads and while I drive at top speed through the city there is a much clearer view of everything around you. All this with the added content and graphical enhancements that simply would not run on last gen.

 

Besides, the biggest reason for current gen is not because of what GTAO is, but rather what it will be. They will continually add things and current gen is clearly the way forward. Most people are eventually going to get a current gen system and if you have one why would you not play (arguably) the best game out on current gen consoles?

Quick toss button is d-pad left (or right; i dont remember) in first person only. It throws what throwable is active in your wheel (except the jerry can)You can throw in third-person. I play exclusively in FPV and I would have paid more than $60 for that feature alone. There's also not a chance in hell that last gen systems could handle FPV.

Although I wish we had the stuff that's in current gen, the PS3 would most likely suffer more bugs and stability issues for GTAO. I don't think Rockstar would want to go through the trouble of fixing and patching because of limitations that will hold them back. For instance, I've been complaining about the content creator on old gen but now I can work with more content on current gen consoles without any game breaking issues.

Rockstar has stated themselves that if they was to add PS4/XB1 features to the last gen versions(mechanical standpoint) it would completely compromise the game. If you don't believe me go search through their newswire bc it's posted there...last gen just doesn't have the power let alone memory to handle it, period.

On Current-Gen yeah, but on last-gen I'm sorry it does not. If I complete a heist I'd like to get back to free roam a little sooner rather than sitting there waiting for anything to happen. Heck, on last-gen the directions sometimes never appear and you're stuck and unable to do hardly anything. Sorry if the truth hurts.

Exaclty what it is he IS jealous. I look at it this way, with the current gen versions Rockstar was finally able to bring the out how they had originally intended it to be. Due to the last gen limitations they had to water down everything just to make sure it ran. I'm greatful I got my PS4 in June and preordered on PS4, I love all the new things they've added and still continue to add and not have to worry about things screwing up and frame drops.

What pisses me off is they don't add next gen 'pussy mode' to last gen. Yet technically it's already in the game with 16-player non-contact races. I ain't upgrading just for that sh*t.

 

I even tried saving for next gen as there're a few games I like but low pay and bills got in the way. I just bought crap like unhealthy food with the money I saved instead lol!

humpback whales, cats, stingrays, dolphins, orcas, hammerhead and a lot more. They were obviously not going to make an entire new gta, they just amped up what they were limited to. additionally, visuals are nut technically a bad that.
