I havent yet, after the christmas delay, the hype train I was on got derailed and hit a wall ... hard... in a tunnel .. then cought on fire ... before a tsunami drowned the remaining survivors If it was released at the same time as Xbox1 & PS4 it would have been an instant buy for me. If it had a decent steam preorder instead of GTA:SA a month ago I most likely would have bought it. Now here we are, less then 3 full weeks for the next known release date, and the train started moving again. I find myself checking the forum every day, hoping for some info on the newswire. From my poin of view it looks like we wont be getting any more info before the 31ste of March. Which would make sence, the end of the (current) preorder bonus, 2 weeks before the next known release date. Mosty likely I'll buy it as soon as the actual release date is known. I was very excited for the game when it was going to be released in January (so after the first delay), I was also looking on these forums almost daily (which is why I registered), and I was also looking up some YT video from it. But I've not been as excited since they delayed it again (in January) to be honest. I had it pre-ordered already, and I'm not going to cancel it or whatever, but I don't really mind if they release it in a couple of weeks, or if they delay it again. GTA is far from being a yearly release and you gotta wait a while before the next title yet you can have fun with any of the previous ones. So no, I will not miss this one for sure. I did not play any of the console version of GTAV so obviously, it is going to be a brand new experience for me and might be less exciting for someone who did. Before they delayed it to April I was about to preorder it and even then the game was still about a month away. Also, and this might sound strange, but I'm waiting until AFTER 31st March for the pre order bonus to expire. I really don't want extra money in the game. Have the game on ps3, but while it's fun for a few hours, ultimately the wasted potential (30fps+controller aiming) gets frustrating pretty fast. lazy_wanderer Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) I know exactly what you mean but it really doesn't apply to me because in my case I already have it pre-ordered at a retail store since march last year and I kept believing it would come out some day even though my friends thought I was crazy waiting for a game that they already played a million times and here we are waiting for the final weeks to come by (I hope). it was a long and hard road with a lot of emotions here on the forum, but yeah I hope the wait will be worth it and that everybody will enjoy the game but I understand that you are still sitting on the fence and maybe I should have done it too but hey I just couldn't resist the GTA magic, I'm just blinded by it everytime or something Edited March 27, 2015 by lazy_wanderer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Let me just say this: The weekend before release two friends are over and we really wanted to play it, because they said 24. March. But if the local stores would get it in stock the Friday before release I still would not buy it without any good reviews online, because that is how much I mistrust R* that it is actually a decent PC version. Would it really be worth it to preoder soon just to have extra money? I am an existing player anyways (coming from PS3) and still can get a bonus. If you are going to get it on release... there's no good reason to not pre-order it right now and get the bonus stuff. They delayed it to make it better, shouldn't this give you more reason to buy it? Or are you people the ones who bought Assassins Creed: Unity and liked the awful bugs and unoptimised mess? I understand people that want to wait to see how it runs for other people before buying it, but outright not buying it because it was delayed. Why? OT: I was never on the fence. I knew for sure that I would play it, whatever state it be in. I've bought this game 3 times now and I'll be playing it one day one, just like the previous versions. That's gangsta, bruh. I hope you will encounter massive problems with the pirate version. Or that it will be so good optimized (the game that is) you'll reconsider and buy a legit copy afterwards. Probably doubtful though with that attitude of yours. And did they really promised that they wouldn't delay it anymore?
