Daily Objectives> Free Roam Only?

Here's a re-enactment of me fulfilling my 1vs1 deathmatch requirement today.

I gave up on doing daily objectives after my two week streak. Twice my daily objectives didn't reset, twice I've recieved the "perform a stunt jump" objective which is glitched and won't tick if you've already completed all the stunt jumps. I lost all my progress towards the one months bonus.

I'n not going to bother if some stupid glitch is going to mess up my progress a fifth time.

do you constantly switch characters? Daily objectives reset at 2am(est). The last character that you play with, the daily objectives will reset for them only. The other character will show old completed daily objectives.

 

 

Since I can't quote everybody and reply to them, I'll make a broad statement:

 

Most of the daily objectives you can play alone (golf, darts, races except rally race--need 1 more person), contact missions, etc. Often times you don't even have to finish playing it. You'll know if you get a completion if you pay attention to the notification that says Daily Objective complete. If you're playing alone, you can just quit if you see that.

 

You guys are psyching yourselves out. The hardest Daily Objectives (DO) to complete are the ones that you have no control over, ie. Crate drops. Also I always find someone to arm wrestle with. Either quick join or start your own.. Someone always comes. Arm wrestling only lasts seconds. People WILL join.

 

The DO will never get too specific, such as play golf with 4 people and 9 holes. All it asks is to play a game of golf, play a game of tennis. Etc.

 

Kill a revealed player can be done in any PvP job, not just tdm. Your best bet is to do it in capture, or actually, do it in a melee deathmatch. You're bound to get a kill. Also you get unlimited reveals in jobs, as opposed to free roam.. Well you can't even use it in free roam.

Daily Objectives... is really meh. Doesn't have much appeal IMO other than payouts and RPs.

The one that's a pain for me is the 1v1 DM.(you really have to be quite the a$$ to get somebody to accept) Luckily I have someone on my friend's list who's willing to help on that. You don't have to play a full set of Tennis I found out either. Just start the game, and if the other person quits, you win, and it counts. Same for Capture too. With Rally Racing only requiring 2ppl now, it makes it so much easier to do that. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, I should have the 28 Day Bonus come Monday.

yes that's a bitch move. Also don't you automatically lose the deathmatch if you leave the area? Then the other person automatically wins. Same with improvised race.. You have to wait for the countdown before you move

I usually rob a store and give the money to my opponent after every time someone joins my impromptu race, arm wrestling, or whatever other unpopular game mode.

Basically a solo race, but with 2 people. 1 is Driver. 1 is Passenger. Before you had to have at least 4 people to start a Rally Race

I had to do the tennis objective a few days ago. First try the other guy left after six games and it didn't count. Then I tried again, they quit again after four or five games but this time it did count. I don't know if it's a random thing or it has anything to do with the fact that the second match was much closer. Or maybe one of the guys didn't quit, just lost connection. The thing is that it's already quite hard to get someone to join let alone keep them interested for an entire set (which is the shorter match you can play online) if you need to play the entire match.

 

I also had the stunt jump one after I had completed all the jumps but read someone that one of the jumps in the airport works anyway and it did. It's the ad with the Issi, opposite the dumpster ramp to enter the airport.

Ya, I get killed every once in a while in Free Aim, never when I'm in a car though.

 

Auto Aim is just far more dangerous, so I get why a lot of you guys avoid it!

Actually, if you really hate playing a full set, find a friend who would be willing to play one game with, and then have them back out after that first game is won by someone. Worked for a crewmate once, as when I left, it registered for him (the non-daily objective person has to be the one to quit for it to work).

 

 

Cool, i'll give this a try. I don't actually mind playing the sets, it's just getting people to join in the first place... GTAO's biggest problem.

 

Absolutely insane to think that of all the millions of people potentially playing the game at any time, I have to persuade one of two people on my friends list who still play GTAO to ask them to help out with this objective.

I normally do them with a friend and we just do the PvP challenges 1 on 1. The only one I've had trouble with was cause havoc after bribing the cops. It took me about 20 grand worth of calls to Lester to finally get it, I honestly may have lost money on that daily challengem

When one of my crewmates or myself get that one, we team up, and call in (now anyway) a Valkyrie, and have the person needing it sit in the co-pilot seat, while the pilot flies around to parking lots or along the highway, Takes no more than 30 seconds to destroy the needed 10 vehicles (leaving more than two minutes of time to just keep at it for the hell of it), and only the one call to Lester. Buzzard would work too, but likely be a little less effective.

Parachute dangerously - CHECK jump out of helo at airport, pull cord under 150 feet

Perform a stunt jump - Ah...should be easy. But no matter how many I do, no matter where I do them. It refuses to complete. Even more odd, it unlocked when I did it before the dangerous jump. Then the box unchecked again.

today i completed my 5th day...

 

they have been quite easy to do.

 

my challenges so far.

 

play a lts.

participate in a sea race.

participate in a air race.

participate in a land race.

play a tenis match(had my kid join me, played a round, he quits, i win)

do a stunt jump.(had to try atleast 10 different locations for this one to register)

go to the movies.

ride the rollercoster.

fall from 325ft and survive.(get in a helicopter, go high, parachute, when near the ground release the parachute)

After a few calls to Lester I looked it up online and just called in my tank when I found out that I had to blow up cars. Only took me about 30 seconds once I knew to blow up cars.

 

That one could use a better description because nowhere does it say to blow up cars and from looking it up online a lot of people were having the same issues.

Completed 25th day today. So far the hardest to get was the vehicle deathmatch. And that was more or less just waiting 2 or so hours for someone to join.

If you still need the stunt jump challenge. Solo race Downtown Underground and use the Obey 9F. Just go full speed when approaching the stunt jump and you should get it. As long as you don't crash before the jump or during landing it should count (you need to see yourself gain rp).

I've had 1v1 as an objective once. What I did was randomly kill someone, most people don't like being randomly killed and go after the killer (I know I do) so I just made my way over to him and waited for the inevitable revenge kill, then I offered the 1v1 deathmatch - which he accepted.

 

I had a nice easy one today - gta race, destroy 5 cars, go the movies. I played a custom GTA race solo, put traffic on and blew up 5 cars within the race, then went the movies and quit immediately. Took about 5 mins including loading and driving to the movies and cost me $20.

Daily Objectives are a real easy way to make money without grinding missions. But some tasks feel really forced and almost pitiful. For example, play a roun of a tennis. Before the update came out, there were very few people who played these but now you sometimes have to play tennis or golf or (insert game mode here) and even more so, you have to find specific lobbies!such as "Kill a Revealed Player". With Heists out, it's hard to find a death match, but now you want me to find a SPECIFIC Deathmatch.

IMO, Daily Objectives should all be in free roam to encourage play there with all the Heists and what not. What are your thoughts?

Any Parachute Mission on the Job Menu... Just jump out the helicopter and pull the chute when u get close to the ground..
