Character appearance altered again by update (PS4)

So, I am making this thread because the most recent update for GTA V on PS4 seems to be messing with our online character's appearance again. My char just went from a male Caucasian type to an generic looking Asian skin, almost ressembling the one on PS3, this happened just after launching a mission.

 

It can be undone by going to character swap in the Online tab of the pause menu, however I tried launching another job and this time he went full black... Anyone else had this happening to them today ?

It's time we get a god damn plastic surgeon. We are paying 100K for a new license plate, but can't pay 250K for a new face? In Los Santos? And after all of these updates and issues with player character models?

Yeah, my female was untouched last few updates. Now she's looking horrible...

 

 

Edit: restarted console and she looks good again. Still my crew tattoo won't stick...

 

At least they stopped putting the surpressor on my pistol. Now R*, don't put it on again, alright?

Mine seems unaltered yet again thankfully, still haven't looked at my other characters as I daren't.

Oh no not again... They know about the character issue but they didnt fix it. Maybe in the next patch or the patch after that or... With all those updates to make things better they make things worse.

Some folk have reported it happening once or twice in a session, yet quitting out of the session to the character selection screen undoes the effects, and it goes away (seemingly) permanently.

Apparently, this patch does include a fix for the previous new-gen (and old-gen?) appearance bug - maybe this is just a side-effect? And if, like I say, it goes away when you quit GTAO and re-select that character, perhaps it's just a necessary speed-bump (probably to reset any characters who might still be affected by the old bug).

Need more info, obviously - can anyone offer any more accounts of this happening to them?

Same thing happened to mine too and she looks fat with a man face. Anyway to fix this?

Contact rockstar support for a character re edit i contacted today after seeing others getting ability for a recustomization since mine were still messed from barbershop bug 5 mins later they allowed both characters a re edit

Yeah, I might just try that because it still keeps happening to me today. I've also noticed that sometimes when you are in a pre-mission or Heist screen, (where you choose the gear ect.) it seems to attribute me the face of one the players who joined o_o

 

This really is some weird sh*t. I hope they sort it out permanently, for EVERYONE.

I've turned Caucasian and I can get into other people's owned cars?
