Since its PS3/4 only, it may be something to do with the Suspend/Resume feature that Sony is releasing in the upcoming patch.

Lobbies for races now give me an option to enable/ disable client invites and the matching making option is the very top option now.

Can confirm in the new update, other players still attack you.

Confirmed! The try to kill you even in passive.

Parallax occlusion was in in the new version of GTA 5, Story mode and Online? Also why have they disabled it?

My character's face changed again. He looks even uglier, weirder and more f*cked up now.

Yes, and it was disabled with the heists update. Watch video for comparison:

I don't they think they disabled it on purpose, probably a glitch like the now fixed lack of car deformation.

Character's face changed again, took mask off, went to character selection screen and it's back to normal now.

I'm also downloading an update for the PS4 firmware, 2.5

 

Also, whoever is downloading the whole thing again is because the previous update/heist file was deleted for some reason., if you didn't trashed it out in the notifications board it should still be there.

Nope, it was small (didn't look at exact number) and only took a minute maybe to download.

It was never implemented. It was in the patch notes, but not in the game.
