Why don't people join heists? (or setups)

I cannot understand why people wont join my heist setups or finales? They are fun and pay well.

Most of us that have been playing for a while know not to play with randoms, unless your willing to be trolled at a pretty consistent rate

I've got enough money that I'm not desperate enough to try it, some still do

Yea, a lot of my friends don't have the ps3 anymore so im going solo atm with randoms :p Well, if they join ofc.

That tends to happen a lot, for one I only help people during heist setups because they have a set amount of money that you get at the end. I only play the actual heists with people I know/are on my friends list because of the chance of the leader to give me zero percent and everyone else ready's up expecting me to deal with doing the heist for free. I understand not everyone does that to randoms, but it most likely always happens to me.

I need to finish the Series A heist before I start replaying others.

I joined a random setup once. I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes. During that time, a third joined, and left. Near the end, a third person joined, and then a fourth, we were set. And the host never started it, minutes went by, the fourth left, then the third, then me.

I think it's due to the fact that everyone wants to be the leader, and won't take any other position.

I like to join Randoms these days, but I have a rule that I get at least 15% and we don't fail the heist more then 3 times.

I joined the humane labs finale a few days ago with Randoms and the host had everybody on 15% which I was OK with as I was down as the pilot and hadn't flown the Valkyrie before or even previously done the mission, then he changed somebodies to 10% and put his at 60% which I thought was naughty. Just before he launched he swapped me to 5 and more to himself or his buddy hoping I wouldn't notice no doubt.

I played through the mission and was going to deliberately fail near the end and let him know on the mic that I had seen him pull that dick move but one of the ground team drowned and then somebody disconnected / left before we restarted.

That is why i guess a lot of people don't like to join, people being dicks :)

OP i'm on PS3 too add me (same tag as here) if you like and if i'm around i'll join

I always play with randoms/crew members and am now at the Pacific Standard Finale so I don't think a lot of people have a problem.

I'm doing the same and can't find a single person to play

You don't have to click ready if you don't like the %'s...

I finished All in Order before playing with randoms.

I mainly go for setups but Series A finale I'll go to as it's easy to protect the others. Assuming the guy driving the Rebel stays near the trucks so I can shoot.

Fleeca I'll always do when that pops up and accept the default payout. But on some missions like Prison Break that won't cut it. So I simply avoid them, especially if they started with a low level that has no idea what the f*ck is going on. Like the Gunner jumped out with us on the Humane Lab Raid and I facepalmed. Especially as he kept following us. I just ssuicided with a grenade and as we restarted I told him to stay in the Valkyrie and protect it. Dumbass doesn't listen and next try, Valkyrie explodes! I rage quit and left

Because there are more gamemodes then heists

That doesn't answer the question as to why they join and then leave. Or hangout for a minute and bounce. You know what you are joining when you click on it in your phone. So why leave like OMG what is this, later.

There's a special place on hell for people who join, ignore the mission objective, race to an area heavily populated with enemies, instantly die and then leaves

I tried to play with randoms three separate times this morning, and none of them ended well. On Humane, I had two kids that kept failing the setup mission by shooting off explosives before the contacts even show up for the meet.

The setups just don't pay enough to be worth it if the randoms are going to ruin it for you. I can make 22k by doing Trash Talk in half of the time that it would take to do a setup that makes around the same if not less. I don't mind people dying, especially if they're doing the heist for the first time. But, if you die intentionally and are wasting my time, there is no way that I am going to keep helping you with setups and I know how frustrating the actual heist is going to be.

Unfortunately, people like that ruin it for everyone else because I eventually stop joining.

I'm just getting tired of seeing prison break setups.

I've decided to join anything heist related that comes along just to get my 50 setups and finales to unlock the chrome rims categories.

I think it's due to the fact that everyone wants to be the leader, and won't take any other position.

That and they have dozens of requests from other players which might have a higher level than you.

My main reason for not doing heist no more is glitches and bugs always kicking people.

Also I helped one dude get through all the setup missions and then on the finale he lowered my cut to 10% so now I don't help people do the setups unless it's my crew because I ain't doing 4-5 missions only to get a sh*t cut at the end.

All you people thinking you can give crap cuts and all you noobs failing multiple times are the reason a lot of people don't bother with heist no more so you only have yourselves to thank.

I don't know about others, but for me I will join setups and finales. However, if I get an invite to the same heist setup, that I just helped a random with, you can bet I won't be joining that.
