mod car for other player?

I have a friend who has to make a new PSN account. Trying to be helpful, I was wondering if the following would work;

 

She steals a Felon 4dr (random car that can be kept)

I drive it into LSC and spend $300k modding it except for transponder/INS

I give to her, she drives in LSC and buys transponder and insurance

takes it to her garage and is now hers

 

I have a feeling that won't work. But I know somebody has tried it.

Nope, Once you add any mods to the car it becomes yours and if she gets into it and tries to drive into LSC she'll get the "This vehicles can't be modded" or something of the sort.

Knew it. Just no way to really share I guess. Dang it. Grind it is.

 

I guess that keeps somebody from taking my Adder and swapping everything back to stock.

If you're friend really needs a car that bad there is a car duping glitch to where you can dupe one of your cars that is under 100k and she can take it and keep it for herself.
