Why You SHOULDN'T Buy The Principe Lectro!

To hell with the cost, it isn't an issue nowadays! Whether someone does money glitches or jobs, you can easily earn that cash through playing the game now.

The Lectro is a damn cool looking bike, and not all vehicles are purchased for the sole reason of racing or stunting. I like to cruise around in free roam with friends (or by my self) with my favourite vehicles, the Lectro is going to be one of them tomorrow.

Don't advise people to not buy it based on your points, because it means nothing in the overall sense. You'd be better off advising people how the Lectro is NOT SUITABLE for racing, not out right telling them to not purchase it.

KERS made F1 boring. Lesson learned I thought.

Obviously you didn't watch the 2014 season.

Kers is the future. Stop living in the past!

OP sound like a persons who never bought one... Telling people to not buy it.

I bought one.. I love it. Its the most addictive ride in this game for me.

OP has given rational reasons for his choice. You haven't.

What makes it addictive? What makes you love it?

Ugh... His reason don't matter.. He does not own one. So..

See.. I bought the thing. I OWN it. Its fully modded. I have nothing negative say about it besides it silly that the Kers does not work in races.

I can't stop riding the thing because its so damn fast. The addiction comes to learning how to keep boosting constantly. Once you pop, you just can't stop.

So unless you own one OR go riding with it for a few hours. You won't know how fun it actually is.

And it's pretty good at stunting. That boost changes the game up.

Could you show some examples of it stunting, because in my experience it will not bump off anything at high speed, which just leaves ramps and natural inclines (hills etc.).

I only ask because I've hunted high and low on Youtube for videos of stunting with this bike, and have only seen regular stunts. The closest I've seen to proper stunting is the jump up to the roof of Rockford Plaza, but even there you can see it's a flukey bounce of the kerb that allows the required wheelie.

Its more of a low speed stunting bike IMO. Well, it starts at lower speeds but the kers max it out at the last second.

You start of slower,,, Double Clutch and pop a wheelie.( Which really props it up) . Then hit the KER boost as you hit the launch.

Pretty much this. If it's a good guide, I can run it up past the LSC by the airport and launch from the guardrail over the canal to the north towards Vespucci beach

Wether it's a good bike or not, I'm sure we can all agree it's the most overpriced vehicle in the game.

These post are pointless. The KERS system uses a boost from kinetic energy from braking and from in game, gliding.

So. The secret. Hit the boost. Let go of the gas let the bar fill as you're gliding at a high speed then hit the thing again. Repeat.

You'll automatically zoom across the map with timed boosted in a minute.

Also. The turbo unlock increases acceleration, and if anyone knows about that. I can say the purchase is well deserved.

I think rockstar SHOULD introduce KERS and NOS to gta with different or ALL vehicles. It would be nice.

^ They will.

not every car you own has to be the best

Also, very much this.

Okay, thanks. Maybe I need to spend a bit more time with it then. That's actually one of the jumps I use to test most bikes capabilities but when I saw the Lectro couldn't even lift the front wheel at high speed then I stopped testing.

Truthfully (and game breakingly), any of the hybrids should be allowed it. Dilletante, Surge, Khamelion, Voltic, Turdismo and Jester.

On the other hand, giving the functionality to the Turismo and Jester would just further set them apart from the rest of their respected packmates.

I'd be happy if they released a new Voltic with the KER system attached. I'll gladly pay a million for it if it lets me paint the secondary colour, again. I'm not sure where the Khamelion sits in its abilities, as I don't own it, but it would probably give a new lease on life to it as IIRC it's just a lackluster sedan.

A nitrous system, on the other hand, would just be bullsh*t as it'd suddenly lose its novelty and just be another mandatory upgrade which would diminish uniqueness of the system unless they implement nitrous like they do the remote/ignition bomb: An $8K one use upgrade. That would be pretty sweet. That would also allow the KERS'd electrics a continued advantage: they could just refill and reuse where as nitrous jocks in Zentrollos would have to motor back to LSC to get it again.

Actually, the Adder is the most UNDERPRICED vehicle in the game. IRL it costs about 3.2 mil.

On topic:

The Lectro is useless in races, but in free roam it can prove valuable when being chased. Either use the superior handling to duck into an alley, or use the KERS boost to put some space in between you and the competition.

Lol. Do you guys think that these are bugs?

In that case I'm gonna email them and let them know about the bug that stops the Akuma pulling wheelies at speed, or the bug where my Ruffian isn't as fast as an Akuma. Either bug being fixed would make me very happy.

I would really hope the boost not working in races is a bug. I mean how fvcking stupid can rockstar be? Why charge a mil for a bike that has no advantages in races? Its ridiculous really.

If what I've read is true then I'd say that's a bug, yeah. Apparently if it's a GTA race (so you can get off your bike) you just need to either get off your bike and back on again, or swap bikes with your opponent. You can then use KERS. I can't vouch for either of these as I've not tried them myself.

To hell with the cost, it isn't an issue nowadays! except for someone that hoards every dollar he has like i do. buyer's remorse hit me a lot, especially for a bike that is more expensive than the fastest car in the game. it has to be a really good bike for both racing and fun. oh wait.. it's not good at racing. Whether someone does money glitches or jobs, you can easily earn that cash through playing the game now. earning cash now is just slightly faster than it was before, which is very slow.

The Lectro is a damn cool looking bike everyone keeps saying this but to me it doesn't look good., and not all vehicles are purchased for the sole reason of racing or stunting if not for speed i purchase for looks and it does not look good IMO.. I like to cruise around in free roam with friends (or by my self) with my favourite vehicles unless you play in public servers, where bike players are so prone to bullets you can't even have fun in free roam. auto aim/free aim + auto shotgun + half decent gamer will so easily kill you in FA. sure you can activate passive mode, but.. it's not fun., the Lectro is going to be one of them tomorrow.

Don't advise people to not buy it based on your points, because it means nothing in the overall sense. You'd be better off advising people how the Lectro is NOT SUITABLE for racing, not out right telling them to not purchase it. i agree with this. you have a test run in the heist, so whether you're satisfied with the bike or not is pretty much up to you.

responses in bold.

Retards dont know how and when to use the KERS system... Its used for acceleration not overall top speed, so you use it when coming out of corners.. And in that case it destroys the other bikes

If I didn't give them $80K for the superior Hakochu, no way I was giving them $750K for a motorcycle.

I've done okay without Nitrous for TWO years....why would I need the crap now unless it was detrimental if you didn't own your own to pass a Heist.

I couldn't see giving them $600K for the Coquette Classic and I actually love that car.

HAHAHA all you complainers HAVE NO MONEY to buy it, its that simple no other explanation!

This bike is SUPER FAST if you know how to use the boost and if you know how to drive you can be faster than a zentorno & adder combined.
you do have to upgrade it though, stock its not that much, but once its upgrader its AMAZING.

so fun to drive and boost, you ppl are retarded

People don't like to turn or use breaks...this is why most public races are all in straight lines. lol

NOS=/=KERS Two totally different things. "750,000 that's like the three Quarters of a million." No that not "like" three quarters of a million. Thats exactly what it is.

Broke player problems id say. I waste 600k in paint jobs weekly. And sometimes i end up with the same paint job i started with.

1. The Price

The price of this bike is just overpriced. 750,000 that's like the three Quarters of a million.

I think you'll find that 750,000 is, in fact, exactly three quarters of a million.

Reminds me of American newscasts - "You can expect 6 inches of snow tonight - That's half a foot"

Really? You needed to explain what 6 inches was?

No wonder the rest of the world thinks we're slow.

The Hakuchou is the fastest bike. In terms of speed (without using KERS) this bike is just average. However people here tend to overlook the importance of handling and this bike's handling is superior to the other bikes, at least imo.

Nice "I'm rich" brag. Like the kid who can afford everything but knows the value of nothing. Except here the brag is about money that doesn't exist. You might as well brag that your imaginary friend is bigger than my imaginary friend.

The discussion on whether or not to get this bike is really aimed at those who have to make a considered decision to buy it. If you can buy it and not notice the difference in your bank account your opinion on this matter is irrelevant to those who can't. You might buy it because you like the design of the petrol cap or the footrest, and that's fine for you but they need a little more solid reasons for buying.
