PS4: Passive Mode deactivates

I have been happy with the way Passive Mode works on the PS4, but lately I have been killed several times where I knew for sure that I was in Passive Mode - or so the Interaction Menu told me. I have a feeling that some actions deactivates Passive Mode without updating the Interaction Menu. It shows that Passive Mode is activated - but it's not.

 

Can anyone elaborate on this?

 

When it IS on Passive Mode works perfectly.

Yeah a lot of strange things have been happening lately...

 

It's like the PS3/360 all over again where if you got out of a car and you were passive it would turn off.

Yes, exactly!

 

If we could just figure out why and when it turns off.

 

It's something on :r*: side so unless they fix it we're screwed but i haven't had any issues with it myself so it could just be a rare glitch for you

I know it's R*, but if we knew why and when it turns off then perhaps we could avoid it or come up with a workaround.

I was watching morning news and they were talking about how many people died in a plane crash in the E,U and abroad in 2013 and 2014.

 

In 2013 there were around 95 death but in 2014 there were 614 deaths
