I Have to Sign In to Xbox Live to do Singleplayer!

Ever since this update whenever I try to do my singleplayer game offline, before the loading screen appears this message comes up saying that I have to sign in to my account on Xbox Live to play my saved games. WHAT THE HELL!!! Isn't singleplayer for playing by yourself offline? So is there any solution for this because I can't log in to Live every time I want to play singleplayer. If I uninstalled the update would it go back to normal? Thanks.

I assume it's a digital (downloaded) version. If you're playing with account that wasn't originally used to download the game, you'll have to do license transfer so you won't need live connection to play. That's how it works at least on Xbox 360.
