Wouldn't it be cool to be able to auction off your Maxed Out Zentorno on GTAO for $1,000,000, and not get ripped off by LSC?
Wouldn't it be cool to auction off your Chrome Adder for $100,000,000,000,000 [$100T] and get 0 bids?

Lets face the facts, the LSC sell system is sh*t. If you buy an Adder for $1,000,000 and put a crap ton of upgrades on it, it'll only sell for $700,000 more or less. We need an option for auctioning vehicles, legit, in GTAO. A system where you can actually put bids on other cars owned by other owners. Comment and Like this post so that R* will see this sh*t and actually put it in game.

Anyways, it would be worthless. Unlike MMO games with auction systems, or real life, everyone has the same chance of buying anything in GTAO, at the same price, with the same features, and nothing degrades in value (therefore lowering the price because an item is used would be pointless). Why spend an inflated price for something you can buy and fix up yourself for much less?

And how would you suggest stopping trolls from abusing the auction , imagine you purchase an adder with what you think has engine 4 , turbo , armour 100% , bulletproof wheels etc , only to get it an find out it has none of those things

There should be a list for what kind of modifications applied, of course..

I feel it would turn into a de facto money trading feature if it was seriously implemented. People would just auction off cars they find off of the road, set a price for what they want to receive, and a friend would "give" them their money by "trading" for the car. Vice versa also applies.

Like luisniko said, I'm sure there would be a list of modifications. If not, never buy anything above stock price unless you can actually see the modifications.

Not needed, plus there is the whole money issue thing folks are already bringing up.

Also modders would be able to buy 1 vehicle from someone for say 100 million and rockstar couldn't do anything about it.. No "dropping cash" involved and if it was actually a thing people would get way too rich, way too quick, which in rockstars eyes, means way, way, way less shark cards.

 

I do believe that something should be set in place that you could sell cars to your friends, at the price you paid for everything that went into it or less, but when they would sell it to lsc or another friend, it would sell for the normal price it sells for. That way nobody is making crazy money..
